Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 January 2019OK, for a whileYou cannot criticise the price, but, as always, you get what you pay for. This will be the third one of these that I've bought, over 4 years.Pro's:I wanted a mixer that came out of the wall. These mixers are very cheap, compared to well-known makes.Quality of the chrome, on the mixer part, is good.Fast 1/4 turn action.Con's:The tap seals do not last very long, maybe 18 months or so before they start to drip, which gets then turns into a trickle. I have not been able to get replacement valves; they seem to have a rare thread. The mixer spout is not chromed brass as you might expect; it appears to be plated aluminium. This is ok, but it's not very tough. I've dented mine while tipping out crumbs from the plastic breadbox. Need to be careful with it.I would buy a more expensive version from a well-known company but I would have to modify the wall connectors to suit the wider attachment points. For the price, I'm willing to put up with the short-lived valves.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 October 2018Excellent Quality ProductThis set of taps is of a very high quality and superbly packaged, they even include a small roll of PTFE tape. Unfortunately, for me, I had to return it as it just did not look quite right with the wash hand basin in situ and would have meant major changes to accommodate it. I would not hesitate however to recommend it to prospective purchasers.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 February 2019Nice taps difficult to fix.Like the look, quality and adjustment available, however they are difficult to fix into studwork. The length of thread available for tap connectors is too short. If it was longer a locking nut could be used to firmly secure the unit (see diagram).
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 May 2021Really poor tap, missing important internal partsI bought 2 sets of these as replacements for taps behind a bar. The taps although look ok, we’re missing important parts inside on the tap insert. Which caused the cold tap to not stop running. I had to find replacement parts for both taps. This was the same on both sets of taps I bought!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 January 2020Great product.Does what it says. Great product. Would recomend.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 March 2020very pleasedIt is good quality. We are very happy.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 December 2020Adjustability to fit any hole width.Excellent for our old bath, as we struggled to find any taps to fit at a decent price.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 March 2021Don't buy it.Very thin, lightweight and poor free design.I haven't been able to use it so a waste of money.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 January 2019Excellent productWe used this tap over a butler sink. It works well, we particularly like the bubbler feature. It looks smart and works well.Good value for money.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 October 2018nice loocking tapsI put thease taps in my new wet room at the shower and they look good and work well
Customer questions and answers
- I want to attach a shower hose to the spout. What size do I need.It will be the hose for basin taps rather than bath taps, to the best of my knowledge.
- Is it possible to unscrew the end of the spout so an aerator/hose can be fitted?Yes it does unscrew. Already contains gauze like filter.
- What size fitting needs to be in the wall for this tap to tread into? They have the normal tap thread. From memory I think it's half inch BSP.
- Is the swivel arm brass or plastic on this tap? xit is stainless steel。
