They have a deeper centre as in cup saucers and are small in size, as long as the cake slices are not too big I think it should be fine!I am using mine as coffee cup saucers.

Yes they are. They are very small but lovely. Not big enough for a side plate, really, unless it’s just for a place to put a roll that is going to be broken into pieces ie no room to rest a butter knife. Lovely for tapas and small food offerings.

Only reason I haven't put 5 stars for durability and stability is because it's a plate... ofcourse you have to be gentle with them! Their packaging was cardboard (good for environment) and were very protected. Very fast delivery too!These are quite small, so check the measurements before purchase (they do larger ones in this pattern if you need). I bought these for small tapas side plates and will place on top of a slightly larger patterned plate for a nice mix and match aesthetic :)

My plates arrived today, the colours and pattern are lovely, very well packed. The size of the plate is disappointing, they should be sold as saucers, you can get a biscuit on it thats it. If your looking for a side plate for a sandwich or cake these are not suitable.

These are brilliant for serving one or two biscuits or a small cake after dinner. They are saucer-sized, so don't bank on them as general purpose side plates. Beautifully made and nicely decorated. Check the size with a ruler against your current saucers and plates to be sure of what you are getting. They are exactly what I had been looking for.
