Hi. Swap the two outside brackets over, left to right. Then the crossbars will fit ?? (I did the same thing)
2Are they ok to put above a cooker
I can't see why not. This is a really strong rack, I'm really happy with mine. Just make sure there is suitable clearance between the things you hang on the rack and the hot cooker (no t -towels :)
3Will this hold a breadmaker
For securely mounted, I think this will support a bread maker. Not sure of the definite wait of same. We have heavy pots and pans hanging from ours.

The opposite happened. The screws are too small and slide into the holes...and out again! So I've had to find larger screws to secure it. Otherwise a sound purchase, but make sure you're prepared for supplying your own screws. It had the potential to be great but was let down by this point.

The 10 hooks are more than enough for my pots so got the masher and the ones I use less up to. Looks far more expensive and is great value for money
