Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 July 2020Super sharp, stylish easy clean knives.I ordered these knives to replace my current chef’s knife and santoku knife which needed to be sharpened after every use; as these were well priced I decided to go for the full set. I wasn’t disappointed with my order. The knives are neither too heavy nor overly light. The santoku knife is a massive upgrade on my older one, allowing me to chop and slice much finer than before. The handles on the knives make them easy to grip, even when wet and the blades wipe clean without any effort due to the coating on them. Whilst they are dishwasher safe, I won’t be bothering as I don’t want to do anything which may blunt them. What makes these knives so good is how sharp they are, I’ve honestly never had knives this sharp and hope they retain it for a long time to come. This Sunday I was able to slice my roast beef thinner than ever, which the children appreciated. This is a great set and in my opinion good value. The knives come in a nice box and each individual knife has a plastic sheaf which is essential if stored in a busy drawer given their sharpness.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 November 2020These are great! (Update, on reflection, pretty bad)The knives are great...Look and feel expensive and were packaged beautifully. V happy!Update: still reasonably happy but already, after just three weeks, the black covering on the knife edges are coming away.Update...after just 7 weeks they look horrid. A lot of black is coming off the blades, they look really cheap and nasty now, gone back to Amazon for a return
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 February 2021Coating peeling offI loved these - until I noticed flecks of the colour coating coming off onto food. They are only just over 6 months old. They have remained really sharp but I am concerned about using them .
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 October 2020Sharp & Elegant set of knifesThis Euna 5 piece set is really lovely. Even though I am not a professional chef, I like to have a go in the kitchen. I decided to replace my current set and I am glad that I took the right decision. The design to hold knife is superb and grip is soft and smooth. Knifes are so sharp when I used with veg and non vegIf anyone think of replacing current knife set , I will advice to go ahead with this set. Money will be well spent.Good practical knifes for various uses , highly recommend them.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 July 2020Great qyality knife selectionBeautiful knives. They look very stylish, the handles are soft touch and easy to hold with a good balance and chunky handle. The blades very sharp and cut food beautifully, and the selection of a paring, utility, santoku slicer (carving) and chefs knife is perfect . They come in a presentation box and come with individual plastic guards so you can put them in a drawer safely. You will need to buy a knife block if you want to put them on show as they deserve that! See the photos!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 September 2020Worth the moneyReally lovely looking knives. I've got a few compliments over these. I would advise to be careful though because they are very sharp! I got a few minor cuts when I initially got them as wasn't used to such sharp knives before! The only downsize is they donor come in a knife block, but I didn't want my knives on display so knew this didn't include one.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 November 2020Good quality solid to hold knife with a good mix of sizesFirst impressions, A nice presentation box and immediately made me feel was well worth it even before using the knife. Each knife looks and feels good in the hand and cuts with precision and super sharp and feels solid to hold. Only criticism is my hands are bigger and the grips feel a little bit small and feel a little plasticy but that is being picky to be honest they look great. Each knife comes with a protective cover and ensures the product is kept and safe to store, they are dishwasher safe but we will wash by hand as want to ensure we keep them in good condition but they do look and feel robust.Would highly recommend.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 July 2021Handles straight bladeThe handle is too thin especially on the large meat bladeIt could have been a bit more robust or made from ash for better grip and assurance whilst carvingTheBlade would have been greatly improved if curved ... especially at the end where most of the impact is...Good priceSharpHandles ok but not solidCurve at the end would have increased cutting ability and stop bluntness
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 September 2020Coating peeling off after just two months, but amazing customer service from the seller.Great to begin with - really sharp. However after only two months of moderate use the coating is peeling off and bits falling off into food. Return window has closed so I'm stuck with a set of knives I can't use for fear of the coating contaminating food. Very disappointed.UPDATE: the seller since contacted me and has refunded and replaced the knives, which was a more than courteous. They are really good sharp knives, but I'll be careful when washing them (by hand only I think) in the future. Time will tell if the problems with my first set was a one off.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 September 2021All you need in a knife set.Arrived promptly. VERY sharp (so be careful).Knives can be kept in the presentation box they arrive in or put them into the (supplied) strong plastic sheaths and attach the knives to the mounted magnetised bar fixed the wall.Comfortable to hold and use.Very good knives. Good quality and value for money.Ernie
Customer questions and answers
- What sort of knife block would be suitableThe knives each have individual sheaths. The larger knives don't fit into my old 5 knife block due to the depth of the blade so I store them in the sheaths in a drawer. They are excellent though - very sharp with a comfortable grip.
- Will the knives stick to a magnetic knife block?Yes they will
- Are these also suitable for left handersI didn't know that are knives for left or right hand. I bought them for my husband. He is left handed and didn't complain. So I guess they are ok.
- Is it made in china or prc?China and PRC are one and the same. PRC stands for People's Republic of China that is the slightly more legacy and formal name of China. To the question itself now, they are made in China (but even if PRC it would be exactly the same).
