    Good Quality Wine Glasses
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 September 2020
Good quality, lovely weight and nice shape without being too big. Wash by hand really well, don't feel they would be very safe in my dishwasher with the long stem. I've bought two sets of these and the white wine ones, so would definitely buy again. Would prefer not to have the word 'Dartington' etched into the base though as it makes them look a bit cheap, which they are not.

Good value, albeit taller and thinner than expected
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 July 2020
These are slightly taller and thinner than the image on the box implies. However, they are certainly elegant and more than adequate for helping to enjoy red or white wine. So far, at 5 weeks and counting, no chips, cracks, breakages or cloudiness after innumerable trips to the dishwasher. At £4-30 ish each they are excellent value. Great everyday wine glasses.Update after 50 weeks: we have had 3 of these break in the dishwasher but I do not blame the glasses necessarily as it may have been bad stacking… These glasses do not mist up at all and are still a pleasure to use. The price has dropped since our purchase last year so at £3.33 each we may buy another box.

    Nice to use
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 April 2021
I wanted glasses that could be used for red or white and these fit the bill perfectly. Nice to hold, nice to drink from and good value for money. Durability is an unknown but I haven't broken any yet.

Dishwasher proof. Hate washing glasses by hand but hate cloudy glasses when done in dishwasher. These come out sparkling.

Excellent glasses. Not as good as the Chef's Master ...

Excellent glasses. Not as good as the Chef's Master range but no where near as expensive. Good every day wine glasses with a touch of class.

    Beautiful!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 December 2017
Fabulous glasses. Lovely shape. Wine tastes great in them! Unfortunately first order came and one was completely smashed! Glass poking out of box so quite dangerous. Amazon sorted and reordered 2nd box was perfect. It says dishwasher save but I wouldn’t risk it as they do feel quite thin and fragile.

Beautiful glasses. Thin rimmed as well which I like. Hate drinking wine from fat rimmed glasses. Feels uncouth

    Broken
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 October 2020
This is the second order of these glasses so I have no complaints about the item, but on delivery one is broken. I don't want to return as I need them today but really would like it replaced. When its replaced I can edit my review

Customer questions and answers

  • Is there a seam on the stem of the glass?
Yes, there is, so I'm about to return. Poor quality if really a Dartington product. Also, they look different to picture on box; they're taller & thinner, and look a little like a wide champagne flute.
  • Could you please tell me the Collection Name of these glasses? Thanks
I don't think they are part of a collection as such. Plain wine glasses.
