- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 September 2020Jolly good.I was handed the parcel on a warm summers afternoon. The birds soared high in the sun soaked sky with primal majesty, and the insects marched below on the hot melting pavements with divine purpose. All the creatures moved and all creatures worked and all the creatures bathed in heavens light.I noticed a faint murmer coming from the parcel. I started to open the package and an excited clangor erupted from within.I removed the contents and when the light hit the parcel i saw what mannor of magic it beheld..Several shiny silver faces looked up at me - excited to see their new owner, "get us out!" One said in a voice that one would never have expected to come out of a metal implement. The chap, a skinny knife seemed to have started something, as they all looked at each other in an excited mannor and sang a little song that they had clearly rehersed."Get us out, get us ready!Get the plates and hold us steady,Got tough veg or under ripe fruit? With chop them up and dont give a hoot! Were all equipped and work together,In this whole meal endeavour,(fork solo)Ive got prongs like Poseidons tridentA giant used me to eat an island!(Knife solo)Ive got teeth like Damascus steelWhen sharks see me they bow and neel!(spoon chorus)We hold all pudding with devotionAnd can also scoop up half the ocean!(Altogether)So put us out and to the test,We'll chop your food up like the best,And wont spill one drop on your vest!"
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 November 2019Sharp knives. Good valuePlain and utilitarian, but strong enough for everyday use. The knife blades are pretty sharp, good for meat, but perhaps a little too sharp for young kids. They have a nice feel, nice to use and I think they are good value for the price.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 October 2020The lady next door but oneWell I’m a 66 year old batchelor that has an eye for the lady next door but one. While she was hanging out her washing, I quickly “rinsed” through a couple of tea towels so I too could quickly run out and hang those tea towels out. I managed to stutter out “It’s a lovely day for hanging the washing out!” “Oh yes, indeed it is.” Anyway long story short ( I know you want me to talk about the cutlery) I managed to get myself invited around to hers on Saturday evening! I’d heard from another neighbor that her knives and forks left a lot to be desired as they were very old silver plate but all the plate had worn off, leaving a sort of metallic flavour on the palate, with a rusty finish. So having ordered this set of cutlery some months ago before all this “lock down” thing started, as I needed a wedding gift for a second cousin twice removed. my second cousin cancelled the wedding as his fiancé had run off with his best man and of course the lock down didn’t help. I thought gosh I’m going to get stuck with this if I’m not careful. It seemed such a palava to get a refund and I couldn’t remember which credit card I’d used, then I thought I’ll give them to her next door but one!I told her about the cancelled wedding and as such the gift I had bought. She offered to exchange them for her beautiful chest she had in her front room. It was a no brainier , this cutlery set for a beautiful chest. The deal was done and the date set.I began to inspect the said cutlery and that brings me here.If you’re still with me everyone......They’re all right... for my big firm hands though they’re a little skinny in the handle. The lady next door but one however was very impressed with the shininess of the them and how well the teaspoon sat so comfortably in her soft smooth hands. I can’t knock them really for the price, sharp and to the point. If you’re unsure and want something heavier, ask what weight the set tor looking at is, patterns and style are easier to see in a graphic but in reality, you need it in your hands.Still I got my hands on a beautiful chest.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 September 2019Seems decent for the priceI bought this pack as a wedding present for a friend. I'd seen the good reviews and thought it was a good price. Unfortunately, when it arrived all the cutlery was out of place and I had to take the box apart to tidy it all back up. Obviously if I'd bought this for ourselves it wouldn't have been a problem, but it was a bit annoying having to open a present to rearrange it all. I appreciate this probably happened between deliveries, but doesn't change the fact the box isn't all that protective of the cutlery inside. As I had to take the cutlery out and rearrange it, I can say it seems pretty solid and of good quality. Nice and shiny too.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 February 2020Not dishwasher safeOnly ordered this set as it said it was dishwasher safe but clearly not. Seemed ok to begin with but absolute not dishwasher safe. Every time we put these in the dishwasher the cutlery comes out with little brown rust spots. Will need to replace.

I do not understand why they called it "deluxe", knives are good, but everything else has sharp corners, even handles. The first feeling I got when I hold it was a urge to polish off the sharp edges on forks and spoons. We don't have an industrial polishing machine in our flat, so I will send it back.Don't be fooled by brand name, it is same cheap stuff inside with lazy machining.Photo doesn't show the sharpness, I can scrape off the paint with this "deluxe" stuff, just watch the video.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 December 2019Good quality & finishGood quality cutlery. Doesn’t look or feel cheap at all.I took the opportunity when moving to get slightly more expensive cutlery than what I had. This hasn’t disappointed.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 October 2018Easy to bendThese look very nice and they are very cheap, but you can really get what you pay for in. They are super light and bend very easily.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 January 2021Fancy forks. Elevate your dining experience.More expensive than most sets of cutlery on the high Street but it feels like I'm eating with some fancy forks. The handles are elegant and nice to hold. Buy these to elevate your dining experience during Lockdown 3 in the UK.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 August 2021Replacement cutlery.Needed to replace my everyday cutlery that I have had for over 40 yrs. bought 2 sets as you can never have enough forks and knives. These fit the bill have been using now for two weeks, feel nice in the hand and wash well in dishwasher so all in all very happy,
