    A quality, compact set
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 October 2019
One immediately obvious observation on unboxing these - they're all rather small. If you're doing big family fry-ups or anything requiring large saucepans then this likely won't be the set for you. But if your cooking is on a smaller scale, and particularly if you're short on kitchen storage space, then the compact dimensions might be just what you're looking for.In terms of build quality and materials these pans are excellent, very sturdy but also light and comfortable to hold. In use they're excellent, with evenly distributed burning on the frying pans and they're a doddle to wash.Overall I'm very happy with these pans, and after daily use for over three weeks now they've been faultless. My existing pans prior to receiving these are also Tefal, and are getting on to being a decade old - besides some minor scorch marks on the bottom they're as good as new, and they weren't as premium as this set. As such, I expect these pans to last just as well if not better over time.Footnote: I noticed these are at the higher-end when it comes to price, but as with most things it pays to buy quality, which is what these pans are. You'll be getting a performance from day one and they'll last far longer than cheaper, poor performing pans that will need replacing sooner.

Good quality but on the small side.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 September 2019
The first thing I noticed about these pans was how strong and comfy the handles felt, they have a good grip and don't wobble around at all and I certainly don't feel in danger of dropping them or being left with just the handle in my hand. They are, however, quite small; I would like the largest one to have been the middle sized one and to have the biggest one a lot bigger. I can't fit my potatoes in the largest one so still have to use my old one. The smallest one is a nice size for doing a boiled egg or three but it doesn't come with a lid so I have had to use the lid off my old set; it doesn't have a pouring lip so it's not as if it is purely supposed to be a milk pan! I do like that the knobs on the lids are more of a hook than a knob so you can put your fingers through when you lift the lid, if that makes sense. They are easy to clean and look lovely, I like the glass lids which have a handy hole in them to let the steam out. The frying pans are good quality but again are on the small side, good for just doing a fry up for one person but I couldn't do a full English for all 3 of us all at once. This set is not every pan you will ever need, if there's more than one of you, you will need a bigger one too.

    Practical starter pan set
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 October 2019
This is a decent budget-mid range set of pans. The kind of thing that would be a good present for a single person or couple moving in to their first home – but perhaps not overly practical for a family as the pans tend to be on the smaller side. The pans are designed to work with induction hobs. The pans are all nicely made and good looking. They have reasonably thick bases to help ensure even heating and cooking. Since the pans all have Bakelite handles, they are only suitable for use in cooler temperature ovens, if moved from the hob top into the cooker. 175 degrees or below. This is the kind of thing I’m absolutely likely to forget in the long term, so I treat them as pans that aren’t oven safe. A pity this information hasn’t been put on the pans somewhere! The plastic handles are quite chunky and feel solid, but aren’t sculpted to fit well in the hand, don’t have any kind of soft grip, and do have gaps on the underside that don’t feel terribly comfortable to hold. The handles have hanging loops moulded in to the ends, so they can be hung up for storage. There are no really large pans in this set. Even the larger of the frying pans is only a mid-sized pan. The frying pans have an effective non-stick surfacing, and feature a ‘thermo spot’ which changes colour from a mid-red to a dark one as an indicator of when the pan is hot and ready to use. This really does work as described. The lidded saucepans have steam vents in the glass lids, and are usefully marked on the insides at 0.5L intervals. The markings are clear and practical for use.The pans are dishwasher safe, but handwashing is recommended.

Reliable Quality Pans From A Quality Make And Induction Friendly.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 September 2019
I am already a fan of Tefal pans, I recently purchased a larger non stick Tefal frying pan from Amazon and I regularly use Tefal’s stainless steel Ingenio range of saucepans, which are similar to these Tefal Simpleo pans only the handles come off the Ingenio pans. These Simpleo 5 piece set are super quality. The premium stainless steel feels strong with thick bases yet are not too heavy to hold comfortably. The set comes with a 2 litre saucepan with a glass lid, a 1.4 litre saucepan with a glass lid, a handy milk pan, great for making sauces and soups, and 2 titanium non stick frying pans, one 20cm, one 24cm, both also in stainless steel on the outside with comfortable plastic handles. The lids have vent holes for steam to escape and prevents boiling over accidents. The frying pans have ultra-resistant Titanium non-stick coating which is great for easy cleaning, it’s got an aluminium and titanium-fused hard base, plus extra-thick finish layer enhanced with titanium particles for added durability, making it difficult to scratch. They’ve got a clever ‘Thermo-Spot’ technology centre where it shows you the pan is at optimum temperature for cooking when the red centre spot goes one shade losing its outside lines, so cooking sausages or a steak is easier when the pan is hot enough. The saucepans all have a handy measuring gauge inside their stainless steel inners, useful when measuring water for rice, or making soups, sauces or custard. The edges are designed to pour easily from any side. The handles stay cool, even on the lids and they can all be used on all hobs including induction. They are also dishwasher safe, PFOA free, they can be recycled and have a fantastic 5 year guarantee.I am super impressed by this Tefal Simpleo pan set, it looks quality and made to last. Please see my photos, I have a kg of potatoes in the smaller saucepan and a large broccoli stem, green beans and three large carrots cut up in there together, ample room for a family of 4. I hope my review has been helpful to you.

    Lovely starter set
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 September 2019
I was so thrilled to receive these pans, as our current set looks a bit battered! It arrives in a large heavy box, everything is well packaged, a bit like pass the parcel as you take one layer out, remove a pan, rinse and repeat until you get to the bottom of the box. Inside is three sizes of saucepans (with glass lids) and two different sized frying pans. The quality is really good, as expected! They're lightweight, shiny, and very sturdy. Oh, and they have measurements inside which is really handy if you forget to measure your liquids out beforehand. (That's me, that is) The glass lids are also really good and you can obviously see what's happening inside with the lid on. I'm a bit scared of dropping them though. They're easy to wash as well and came out just as shiny as they arrived. Phew. I love the frying pans too, I like making pancakes and these are ideal, they have the red spot on them that will tell you when it's fully heated. They're easy to clean too. All in all, if you have a new kitchen these are ideal. I would have liked an extra saucepan to occupy all the hobs and it's a bit pricey, but I have to say it, it's great.

High quality pans very practical to use.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 September 2019
The cookware set arrives packaged in a medium sized box with all the parts securely wrapped for transport. I note that the pans are non-stick, oven proof, handles that wont get hot whilst in usage due to protective handles, glass lids so you can see the food cooking, vents in the lids to let heat out and marker levels on the inside of the pans. In use the pans are useful additions to the kitchen. I like the overall style and very good quality of the pans. In practical usage they have all been used and have provided get results in the food cooked. The pan . are quite light in usage but enough weight for them to feel that these are high quality. I note the non-stick technology and can verify these worked on the frying pans, i left the pans to soak before washing, these were easy enough to clean after usage. I do note that this can go through the dish-washer but for longevity hand wash will provide a longer life span for the pans. If considering I am sure these will meet expectations.

    Good quality but small saucepans
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 September 2019
Really happy with the quality of these pans, the frying pans have excellent non stick surfaces and are both really deep pans, nearly like mini woks which is good for cooking small stir frys, curries etc, although the smaller one is only really good for fried eggs, pancakes etc. as it's quite small. The saucepans are solid but light with strong handles that don't get hot, although most pans i own also have this feature so it's not unusual. The saucepans themselves are small, they have measurements for liquids marked internally and this gives an idea of the approximate capacity for each: 0.5L, 1L and 1.5L. In our house we usually cook a big pot of pasta, rice or potatoes as part of our family meal every night; none of the pans in this set are big enough for this which is disappointing. If I was starting out and had no saucepans I'd be disappointed to get a set with such small pans.Overall this is a very good set, but on the small side.

A great quality set of saucepans/frying pans
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 October 2019
I will say i'm reaching 30 and i've always bought the cheap £10/20 sets of pans from the supermarket or online and they never really last that long. My mum has a set of tefal pans so when they came up to try out I jumped on it!The set comes with three saucepans, two come with lids and one is a small milk pan that doesn't have a lid and then two saucepans one slightly larger than the other. They feel like great quality, nice and sturdy but not too heavy. All of the pans have plastic coated handles that don't heat up easily so really nice to use.I really love the liquid measure lines on the saucepans (anything to save using another item that needs washing!) and the red tefal spots come in really handy to check the pans are heated an ready to use.A little more money that i would spend on pans but they're definitely a great set :)

    Chunky, Strong and Smart!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 September 2019
I have never bought a pot and pan set before as I usually like to choose the pans I am most likely to use. That said I like Tefal products and so was keen to give these a try. They arrive in a box and each item is packed separately, later after layer of Carboard comes out exposing the items. First impressions are... they are chunky and strong! You can really feel the quality, and for the price it’s great value for money. There are 2 frying pans, a small and a medium sized one. They both have non stick tops, but super shinny steel bases. There are 3 more pans, 1 small and 2 larger l, the larger also coming with clear glass lids. This set is great! And I am really pleased with them!

Excellent pan set, great for induction hobs
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 October 2019
A very good quality set of pans. They are all fully stainless steel so work well and reliably on our induction hob. The non-stick surface of the two frying pans is excellent; even accidentally burnt food washes off easily. The various sized saucepans are similarly good quality; they're a nice range of sizes and heat very quickly on an induction hob. The saucepans have glass lids that fit well. All the handles are riveted to their pans and, for now anyway, they are strong, secure and are comfortable to hold. These pans may seem a little pricey but they are good quality and if you have an induction hob a fully stainless steel pan is unbeatable.
