Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 February 2019Well worth the money.I was really surprised how much I like this set after reading some of the negative reviews. Firstly, for the price point, I didn't have very high hopes, but am having to replace all of my kitchen equipment. I needed something affordable with fast delivery. No let down here. I'm stilling coming to grips with my electric stove, but the frying pan survived my torching bacon rashers. I was really worried because the bottom of the pan was a disaster. I let hot water soak in the pan for 5 minutes and it washed up like new. These pans are lightweight, but do the job like a trooper. If you are expecting Stellar quality, these are not the pots and pans for you. If you can overlook having name brand utensils in your kitchen, then I would whole-heartedly recommend this set AND this seller. Thanks Bargains Galore and Amazon.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 October 2019The worst I have ever seen!Absolutely terrible you can’t heat them up ... if you do they bend! Everything sticks even with plenty of oil or oil spray, really bad! I’ve requested a refund
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 October 2020Good for people who tend to burn everything they cookI bought this for my mum - she has a habit of forgetting the stove is on (usually when cooking potatoes!) and her pots and pans don't last very long and the burnt on food makes the cookware unusable. I didn't want to spend too much as I predicted they would be in the bin in weeks...to my surprise she has been using this set for almost 2 years and is very impressed by the quality. They are lightweight and although the heat does transfer to handles when cooking, they don't become unbearably hot. I would definitely recommend this set for students or novice cooks. Of course, this is not Stellar or Circulon quality but it is a very decent entry level cookware.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 June 2018You won't regret spending that £20.I'm buying those for myself no question. My mother has had those for ages and they still look as new. And mind you, she's cooking daily. She said they are the best pans she ever had and would recommend to anyone. Can't wait to open my parcel tomorrow:)
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 May 2019Good quality and value for the moneyWaited to write the review so that I’d had time to use them. They’re pretty decent and they haven’t started to look dull. Wasn’t expecting much because of the price but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. They clean up nicely after use. The lids fit well. The handles haven’t come loose as often happens. The pan set has the sizes I use most often. They aren’t non stick but that hasn’t presented a problem at the moment. Overall I’m very happy with them for what I paid, for the price if they only lasted a year I’d be happy but so far I’d say they’ll withstand normal everyday use pretty well
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 June 2021That the saucepan set must have been in a collision on packing. On unpacking, one of the saucepan lids in the very bottom of the packing box was in very minute pieces.Only the lid ring (with minute pieces of glass attached was not broken) I did not think it was worth the hassle ofsending the set back but it is a disappointment.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 September 2017happy wife happy lifehad them a wile now. and im saying this honestly these are well worth the money .i use on electric cooker. and they stay nice and shiny. im impressed for the price. and surprising easy to clean . even when you catch them. I recommend them defiantly.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 June 2021Description betterThe set was not descriptive as I wanted them to put in oven which they can’t!!! I should send them back but being a pensioner have not got where with all to get to return station. So sorry for this as it’s the first sadness I have had x
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 May 2020Don't bother unless you don't mind only using once or twice!First use and there are black spots in two of the pots and no amount of cleaning will remove them as they look like black rust. Worst purchase. Should have gone for the slightly more expensive set as they probably would be better quality!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 March 2018Love it.Seriously, the price for these pans you think you are getting something terrible as a start but these pans are super light, like seriously light and they are amazing, no smoke, problems, cracks etc... They clean easy and cook amazingly which is mad for the price... Totally worth the money.
Customer questions and answers
- Are these pans actually any good? Seeing a lot of mixed reviews but on an Xmas budget! They were good when we moved into our first house, but over time we had to buy completely different pans as these are no good. Anything that you even slighly burn will stay there, not a chance of cleaning those again, so straight to the bin. It's not worth it.
- Will these work on an Induction cooker? They do NOT work on my Induction hob. Gave them away and bought a Tefal set that do work.
- Is this set ok to use on ceramic cooker thank youHi suitable for gas, electric and solid hotplates
- As these are Bakelite handles can the pans go in the oven?I put mine in the oven where they melted and left an awfull smell. Not putting them in the oven again.
