It is in the Living Room and great if you have Wood flooring. The colour of this Rug is very rustic. ...and the bonus is it looks natural and is also great if you have Allergies.....The only thing i would say is that i think when made it could be a bit more smooth on the knots that are showing on parts of this rug. They do look as though they will undo? Whether they will or not time will tell

- Can this be cut down? Would it fray?I wouldn’t, I think it would fray badly. It’s such a lovely rug and at a great price.
- Would dog hairs stick to this or could they be easily vacuumed off ?I have 2 cats, one with very long fur, & the odd clump will stick but is easily shaken, picked or vacuumed off.
- Does it have any backing, like rubber or latex?No it’s the same on both sides.
- Does it shred?Rug is lovely does. Not shred at all . I have it in my kitchen well made
