Thanks to its soft natural colour, it blends perfectly into any room in your home. At Hamid Carpets, we use a huge range of natural fibres in the manufacture of our rugs, including Jute. This is a 100% eco-friendly, biodegradable and recyclable fibre. Jute is a natural fibre with a silky golden shine, the reason why it is also called golden fibre. Commonly known as jute, corchorus is a tropical plant from which the fibre is extracted, grown in warm climates such as those in India and Bangladesh, among others. It stands out for its softness although aesthetically it may appear rather rough. Along with cotton, they are the two most widely used natural fibres worldwide. Its artisanal aesthetic gives it personality and adapts to all decorative styles.

However unfortunately I have a hole in it only after 1 month of normal use. I have contacted the seller and asked for a replacement mat, waiting to hear back and I can give a new update then.
