Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 September 2018VERY Disappointing - harsh, scratchy and shrinks.Really difficult to get a smooth finish when ironing, and surprising harsh feel against the skin. It might soften up, if I washed it often enough, but that is unlikely as I will doubtless always choose something else when changing the bed linen! This was expensive but not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend it.Update: Not only was this cover harsh at the outset, it continues to to feel scratchy and uncomfortable, and now I find that it has shrunk making it too small for the duvet. An extremely expensive and disappointing purchase.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 April 2018Great quality, heavy and comfortableGreat quality, heavy and comfortable. As with anything this pure in cotton be prepared for long drying times and a lot of creases! Also avoid in the summer where the thickness of the material can get quite warm!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 August 2020Amazing quality super soft wish all my bedding was like thisAbsolutely love this bedding bought it for my grandmother and she loved it feels so soft and nice on the skin. The matching fabric storage bag it came in to was a really nice touch I've had items in dust proof packaging before but never a fabric bag especially of this quality will definitely be buying another set down the line. And it was early wich was a big win in my books
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 August 2020Stunning quality product well worth the money.Stunning quality product well worth the money.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 July 2020Lovely quilt coverVery good quality heavy duty hotel grade
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 September 2019Great Quality But Yellow!Very good quality and will feel even better after a few washes. One thing to bear in mind; the "cream" colour of the duvet is definitely more yellow than cream, which is why I've only given it four stars.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 December 20201000 thread count.... really?Feels nowhere near 1000 thread count - I've been sleeping on 400 thread count bedsheets from Aldi (purchased for £40) for many years and these so called 1000 thread count sheets feel like sandpaper in comparison... no exaggeration. Enormous waste of money.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 July 2019poor quality - different product than the product descriptionat touch the product was of poor quality (my normal duvet cover no way as expensive was better quality. furthermore should have been completely white but it was with blu borders (not mentioned in the description). It also came with some yellow stains/like old water/dripping water stains or stains for being too long into the package.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 October 2020Wonderfully smooth and comfortableThese sheets are so smooth and comfortable to sleep on. Very easy to wash, recommended at 60 degrees which is a nice change. Highly recommended
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 October 2012very thick and not soft as this count fabric should behave 2 sets as needed to try out for a month how it felt. a total nightmare to iron - thick and hard - not something i would recommend as it is not comfortable - more for the purpose of anti-dust mite of which it claims to be. i am now lumbered with 2 sets and will have to stretch it through using it everyday for a few months before giving it away. this is by far 1 of my worst buys
Customer questions and answers
- Can you tumble dry this productI don't see why not - tho' I haven't done it myself
- Is the grey bedding almost black rather than grey? It's more of an extremely dark brown when new, however, after a few washes it is dark grey.
- what temperature should these be washed at? 40 degrees/60 degrees/ 90degrees?we wash ours at 60c like all our "cotton whites".
- Hi, are the pillowcases in this set also egyptian cotton plain dyed percale 1000 thread count ? tksYes according to the labelling, don’t buy though! Did not wash well, colour faded immediately and patches of major discolouration. Very disappointed especially as advertised as luxurious and Egyptian cotton.
