- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 January 2020Not made of woodThis was originally described as wooden on the Amazon site, and at the time of writing it still is.This is not made of wood - it is a resin which if it breaks has sharp edges similar to broken china.I know this as the one I bought arrived broken (both of the poor bear's arms were broken off!!)I was purchasing as a gift for someone with small children, when we found out it wasn't wood, and how dangerous the broken edges could be, I did not get it replaced, I just returned it.The table is "wood effect", and it really doesn't look anything like wood in my opinion. The tabletop is not smooth, it has ridges to enhance the wood effect, the enhancement fails! And the surface would be difficult to keep clean.

It arrived undamaged, the top is perfectly level and the detail, texture and colours excellent. The diameter of the actual top is 33cm, the height 53cm, the surface has deepish grooves, so for cups or glasses I would use mats, but we do anyway even on flat surfaces. My wife unpacked it in the garden which was fortunate as it’s surrounded by a lot of static laden polystyrene bits to protect it, which it did perfectly. LOVE IT! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The bear has nice features, it’s a well made table, sturdy and steady. BUT the way it was packaged was enough for me to remove a star on a product I actually love. It was terrible. I understand the need to protect it well in transit, but the packaging used was horrendous. It was the type of polystyrene that breaks easily and millions of little pieces go everywhere. They were charged with static because of the fight I had to extricate the bear and I was vacuuming for days afterwards.

Cones as one piece, I was thinking of putting a price of glass as I'm not sure if any spillage can get through. It's a great height quite big, sturdy and looks great in my living room. The tiger on top the table in the photo isn't part of the table

It had less height than stated.The top base / table was not level, it came down at the front so when you put something on it would fall off easily.The whole table wobbles and falls over easily, maybe if the legs had been wider apart it would have made it more stable.Had to return for a refund, if it hadn't been for these faults I would have kept it.
