- Can this be painted ?No
- Can these be turned upside down, used as desktop shelves for items under and on top (presumably are balanced to do so)? Also is colour true likeness?Yes, if you were wall mounting them it wouldn't be possible but fine for desktop, the picture is a true likeness of the colour
- How are these mounted? Do you need to drill into wall? Could they be hung using something like command strips?I drilled mine, but if you think command strips can take the weight no reason why you can't use them.
