I bought them as a surprise for his man cave and put them up while he was away for the weekend. They was surprisingly easy to put on the wall. As long as you have a tape measure, pencil, spirit level and an electric drill. I had my mother-in-law help hold the shelves while I measured and make sure they were level before I drilled the wall. I would recommend having a second person to help when putting these on the wall. We probably spent over an hour from start to finish putting these shelves on the wall. However the end result was perfect and we were both very pleased with how they turned out. Also my husband loved them when he returned home from his trip. They were a fantastic surprise. I would recommend these shelves to others.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 March 2018Nice shelf but not for plasterboard walls.Nice set of shelves but found it impossible to find the right screw's for them to put up on a plasterboard wall.The screw head diameter inside the shelf is much smaller than screw's that come with plasterboard fixings.

Used in my daughter's bathroom to hold a selection of toiletries, dental care items and hair products! Would buy again if I needed more shelves and I highly recommend. And another good point to mention, they were beautifully packaged so they were not scratched or damaged in any way during transit.

They have really thought about how to pack these little shelves so they just can't move and get damaged in transit.The suggested way of marking out the hole positions on the wall is clever and simple. Use a good level and you can't really go wrong.The high-gloss, painted finish is very well done and the shelves are perfectly stable when fixed to the wall. I really can't fault them at all. I used them in a small bedroom where there was no room for a bedside cabinet so, a series of shallow shelves above the bed was a good alternative. Also, being able to order them in grey was important to blend with the decoration and not all shelves on offer had that as an option.

Polished finish to an MDF (I think) carcass.Not put them up yet but look easy - one screw in the wall per end of shelf. Note that they come with rawl plugs for concrete/ brick so you will need appropriate fixings for plasterboard.Very well packaged.Please take better note of the measurements than I did as they really are small! They are the size I needed but they wouldn’t do for books. I wanted them for a few trophies but will need to be careful on the weight.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 April 2019Beware if you intend to use for plasterboard walls.The shelves initially looked quite solid, though there was a blemish in one corner.However, when it came time to install, things rapidly became very difficult. I hunted high and low for fixtures that would work for plasterboard walls, but was unable to find any compatible fixtures in spite of searching some specialist fixture stores. The recessed fasteners have a very small diameter opening for slotting onto a fixture, which means that standard Molly anchors or similar fasteners will not work. On the other-hand, the self-driving plastic wall anchors ended up being wider than the width of the shelf, so they would be visible, and they make an almighty mess of the plasterboard.Gave up in the end, and the return window has now closed, so sitting with a box of basically useless shelves!!

- Do you think these could be put up on a side of a wardrobe using comand strips?I use Command strips a lot and would say not in this case. I've found that using Velcro (the "heavy duty" range) works, but so well that you can't get it off again cleanly and would need to redecorate!
