- Can these shelves be modified or cut, will the finish crack if using a fine jigsaw blade or inserting an usb hub??To be honest. I've not tried but there is a chance the coating will crack if cut, if your using a router to put a hole in it for a usb I re may be slightly better. But I wouldn't like to say,
