The brackets are black metal and the wood has the most amazing markings and all individual. The fixings are good and very easy to install. I would definitely purchase again if I can find a home for them, really well priced.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 June 2019Very ease to set-upOnce you have access to a screwdriver, measuring tape, spirit level and maybe a drill, these are quite easy to install. So far I've purchased two sets of these and find them to be a convenient means of adding some storage to the corner of a room, particularly for small lights or other devices. A good purchase that I may well make again.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 May 2019FantasticI bought these shelves for my hallway. I always avoid buying shelves as my husband isnt a Diy man AT ALL. But this was too good an item to pass up as a lightening deal. The reviews suggested it was a good buy. I received the item the next day. It came in a black cardboard presentation box, all parts secure. The wood is quite light weight; this was to be expected but not? If that makes sense. It felt really cheap. However we perservered and read the basic instructions. We attached the brackets to the wood 15mm from the edge and used a spirit level to make sure it is straight on the wall, making dots on the wall before drilling holes. The instructions specify to hang the bracket first? Anywhoo, we drilled the holes, keeping some gap to take the bracket and it held up perfectly! Really impressed with how it looks! Ive put quite a few bits on it and it seems to hold up just fine. Wasnt as scary to put up and the other half is getting better at the diy lark.

I couldn’t justify the higher prices for actual oak! Quite narrow so wouldn’t fit all size books, check measurements. These look really good though and help style out your clutter. Fit really well to the wall once also screwed underneath to fix the shelf right. Very good, would buy again.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 October 2020Not Grey, but brown.I purchased the Grey set of shelves.They're very nice looking and seem sturdy but they are most definitely not grey. As you can see in the pictures I posted, they are more brown with a green tinge to them.I painted mine with a light coat of grey paint in Frenchics 'Gentleman's club'. They took the paint well and I'd still consider them value for money since they came with brackets, screws and wall plugs.I used an electric screwdriver to put them together but I think a regular screwdriver would be fine since the wood isn't too solid.

- How is the wood?The wood should be Paulownia and easily hold my marble sculpture, two glass candle holder and bluetooth speaker. Strong and stable.
- All my furniture is rustic oak, do you think these would match?Yes I’d say so. We are a rustic/hipster/vintage home style house and these are awesome. We’ve had some great compliments and they fit in really well.
- Do you recommend using these shelves in a bathroom?they should be fine , we have had ours in the garden and with the resent wet weather they have been solid no signs of rust .
