Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 June 2020Decent price, comfortable chairDuring the pandemic, alot of us useless office workers have had to adjust and work from home. That being said, I don't have a massive budget to spend on what is essentially my ass coffin eight hours a day, but just over a hundred pounds seems somewhat fair.I'm rubbish at assembling anything unless it's Lego, but I managed to put this together in around twenty minutes, so you'll get a good looking chair and a pretty decent ego boost as a result of it.The chair itself is very comfortable. The pillow is really padded out and has a memory foam quality to it. The back of the chair is also great as it supports my lower back, which I've found office chairs seem to ignore in general. Video editing and general working will now be somewhat alright, my soul is still steadily being destroyed, but atleast I have a comfy chair.Would buy again.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 September 2020Decent, comfortable chair **UPDATE three months later**Like many others, I've found myself working at home over the last few months, and the kitchen chair was getting a bit uncomfortable. This chair looked OK and the price was good, so I took the plunge. It's self assembly and was a little fiddly. The screws you need (and an allen key) are all supplied mounted on a card. At one point the instructions required a certain screw was used, but these screws were found in a pocket on the card along with some others and they looked identical, so a bit of guesswork was required. It was also a bit fiddly attaching the arms on my own, but manageable. All in all it took about 10-15 minutes to build the chair.First impressions were hit and miss. It looked very low, but pull the height adjustment handle up and the gas lift raises the seat to a perfectly usable height. The arms (unpadded) can be pivoted up and down, and a large dial on the underside of the seat allows you to configure how easy it is to "rock" the chair if you lean back. It's all very plasticky though, and the back is made of mesh with a hard plastic frame around it.In terms of comfort it's good. The seat cushion feels good, comfortable and supportive even after a number of hours. The back is also nice, and the mesh means you won't get a sweaty back on hot days, but if you want a chair with lumbar support you should look elsewhere.**UPDATE**So I've been using this chair now more or less every day through the week for the last three months, and an issue has revealed itself. The seat cushion, which was great at first, has lost its firmness and now has a permanent imprint of my bottom! I'm not a particularly heavy guy (under 12 stone, or about 74 kilos) but the seat cushion seems to have pretty much collapsed and no longer bounces back after I've been sitting on it. It's still fine to use, and feels OK when I'm sitting on it, but if I put my hand on the seat before I sit down it feels like I've been sitting on it for hours already as I can feel the contours. I'd hoped it would have had more longevity, especially as the chair wasn't exactly cheap. The back and arms still feel fine, but I might invest in a cushion to sit on. Review score dropped by one star.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 March 2020UPDATE - it broke after just 5 months - Great chair with insufficient padding.UPDATE - Ignore previous review. The chair have broke after just 5 months of moderate, home use (bought 13 March this year). The metal bracket underneath the seat is now completely unstable.Entire seat is wobbly and no longer comfortable and safe to use.And I'm not a big lad, weight about 12 stones (78kg).There is absolutely no reason why metal parts that meant to be sturdiest parts of the entire constructions snaps.I will try to get a replacement, but TBH, if pay £100 for a chair I would expect it to last longer than that under someone like me.Old part of review:This is a very good chair made of quality materials. It feels sturdy, doesn't make any weird noises and the size of it is perfect.Castors are rolling easily on the floor as well as on the firm carpets.Back support is more than adequate and quite comfortable. Also the armrests design is brilliant in it's simplicity.Unfortunately none of that is important if after a week of use your tailbone starts to hurt you.The seat padding is not thick enough to provide sufficient comfort.Although it feels firm enough at the start somehow after a week of moderate use it's getting softer until the point where it's not much different to sitting on a plank. And I'm not a heavy guy with my 80kg of weight. So if you are planning to buy it (which in my opinion is still not a bad choice), do yourself a favour and buy some thick memory foam cushion straightaway (seat is 48x48cm). Yes, it is additional £20 on top of already expensive chair, I know. And this is exactly what I'm complaining about.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 December 2020Great Chair with One Major DrawbackOkay, I've owned this chair for a few months now and here's my review:Pros- Looks good and sports a pleasing design- Easy to assemble- Fairly compact with folding arms (fits under a desk with ease)- Sensible price- Is faily robust (I havn't had any damage incurred or structure issues with months of heavy use...and I'm known to destroy chairs)- Personally saved me when I had to start working from home because of COVIDCons- The seat padding...the is the Achilles heel.... the padding after 3-7 days of use becomes flat as a pancake and will destory the bones in your bum (i'm only 8 stone). If you're buying this chair then I would definately buy a foam seat pad to accompany the chair. Heed my warning! I did this and it's been fine ever since.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 November 2019Good for the price !!!This chair is amazing value for money! Been using it for about two weeks now and it’s very comfortable. It was really easy to assemble the manual came in different languages which helped with the construction. The arm rest folds up which helps it fit under any table easily having a small room this is very useful as it uses less space in the room. The mesh backrest is very stretchy which helps with back comfort and is breathable which helps reduce sweat when sitting for long periods. The lean feature helps relaxing on the chair during brakes.I am very pleased with this purchase.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 June 2020Recommend these chairsI have bought 3 of these chairs in the past six months. One for a 15, 13 year old boys and one for my husband. They are very easy to set up (took 30 minutes the first time then 20 after you know exactly what goes where). They are comfortable and appear well made. I can’t imagine they will last forever because they were not very expensive but if treated respectfully I imagine that they would last a few years.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 March 2021Make sure you like it before you buy it, Else it's impossible to ReturnI bought this in all good faith & reading all positive reviews. The chair isn't comfort enough for long working hours since the back support is very short. Hence planned to return it.. (and nightmare began)The Hermes guy who came for pick up said his vehicle isn't big enough to take it back. (as per the Amazon guideline assembled furniture can be written back if its properly packed. So I nicely shrink-wrapped it. Moreover dis-mantling it would have damaged one or the other part)Even the same thing repeated, the Hermes pick up guy said his vehicle isn't big enough to take the chair, even when the note on pickup mentioned it's an assembled item. This makes me to believe1. You need to buy this chair if are absolutely sure you will like it, else returning will be a nightmare.2. Responsibility of pickup arrangement is Not of Amazon, so careful in buying large or bulkier items from online storesOverall very bad experience.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 May 2020Comfortable, practical and not an eyesore!I'm really pleased with this chair - it hits the sweet-spot of being large enough to be comfortable but not so big that it dominates my small (see pic) office room. The fold up arms are super-useful for tucking the chair away when its not is use, although that unfortunately means the armrests are not adjustable. Straight-forward assembly in a few minutes and the height adjustment and rocking features work well (no creeping up when there's no weight on it). I'm getting another one for my son.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 May 2020Stylish chairThis chair is compact yet very comfortable. Easy high adjustable and convenient unfold hand rail. I bought this chair because it is white where most office chairs are black, it look sleek and fit my room style. I find it extremely easy to assemble it only took me 10 minutes, the material of the seat is breathable fabric and the seat is soft and comfy. Delivery is efficient during this difficult time which is a plus. I will highly recommend this chair to anyone.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 June 2020good quality office chairOrder delivered 2 days after the purchase. The chair arrived in parts in a large box. Following the instruction and using the tools that come with the chair, it took me 15 minutes to put it together and it's a straight forward process. The back support is decent. Chair height is adjustable. The arm rests are foldable so the chair can be pushed below the table to save some space when not used. Wheels don't leave marks on wood floor and roll smoothly. Happy with the purchase. Good value for money.

- Are there any tall people around or near the height of 6.6 who find this chair comfortable? If you're over 6ft this chair is pretty terrible (I'm 6.2 and had to return it)
- I have just received mine , and have assembled it . Is this a kids chair ?It’s a very long time since I was a “kid” and it certainly fits me. Admittedly I’m only 5’5” but I’m no super thin model either .......
- Can you sit cross legged on this chair? This is not an easy question to answer. I do not know (nor wish to) the size of your thighs. I can't cross my legs but that is due to arthritis. The arms of the chair do raise up (not very high) but a friend of mine who has the same chair has lubricated the joints and raised them to near vertical.
