    An expensive lesson
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 October 2017
I found this very difficult to put together, bad instructions, I nearly stopped when I saw what looked like a cigarette burn but then realised it was where there were bolt holes. I had also ordered a second one, but after assembling the first I knew I had made a terrible mistake with these. I returned one but had to pay £30 for the privilege of doing so. I had already put together the other and couldn't face the dismantling, I wasn't able to put the footstool together as there were a problem with the bolts and plates. For the price this is a poor quality item, uncomfortable, unusually for me I find it small seat, I am short up until now chairs are always a little big. It really doesn't have much padding. I am now stuck with something that is totally useless. I got these to replace armchairs that were too heavy for me to move and hoover around. With one arm affected by removal of lymph nodes due to breast cancer and the other has muscle problems.

    A DIY skill needed
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 December 2019
This chair was to replace one we had for 5 years for my Husbands problem back. It was a quick delivery however after only a few days the seating area left an imprint of where you had been sat. I found this unacceptable as we had our previous one not from this supplier or this chair, for 5 years without this problem. I complained via amazon to the seller and was asked for photos. I could not download these via amazon so after a few emails to the recipient at the shop sent him the photos personally for their perusal. This was on the 12.11.19 and have had no response from them. Even if nothing could be done then a curtesy answer would have been nice. The chair is what you pay for and was not as comfortable as it looked. The colour and pattern was what I thought and complimented my other furniture. The instruction drawings with numbers was not very clear. Fortunately my Husband is used to putting kits together but anyone without DIY skills would find this difficult. We have also found when putting furniture together there is always spare screws but there was none with this chair.

    Useless instructions.

Not the best instruction booklet in the world. Booklet lists parts A,B,C etc. Instructions use1,2,3, etc. Really clever.I have already emailed the UK supplier re this and they said they would contact the factory.Having said that it’s fairly easy to figure out where everything goes and which screw fits where and what.So as long as you are fairly adept with a screwdriver and spanner you’ll be ok although one or two bits of the procedure you will need a fair amount of strength to complete.Note where the instructions say “don’t fully tighten all screws until fully together” IGNORE THIS.For the base, when attaching legs to central spigot you can tighten these when the base is complete. Also when fitting the arms to frame, tighten these, as you can’t get to them to do that at the end.Ours are fully assembled and very comfortable. We consider these very good value for money.

Instructions needed that explain exactly how to assemble. Basic D.I. Y skills would be useful .

Perfect for our room, which is quite long so we need to swivel round to talk to everyone !I ordered one , and once my husband had managed to put it together , and having tried it for comfort , immediately ordered a second !Yes ,we're pleased with the chairs .... Assembly a bit tricky as the instructions were basically nonexistent ...

    Great product

Very happy with my purchase....bought two of these (wheat fabric) for our conservatory. They weren't too difficult to put together; my husband did both in an afternoon. They are extremely comfortable, good quality and well made. Would definitely recommend.

    Good quality for the price

Chair and footstool delivered on time. Relatively easy to assemble; instructions could be slightly clearer but overall not bad. It is a very comfy chair, sometimes I use a cushion for extra lower back support. It looks really great in a modern style of room. Already had many happy hours reading, relaxing, snoozing, and phone watching! :)

    Can’t recommend
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 December 2019
I cannot recommend this chair. After 3 attempts at reassembly the chair back still doesn’t sit straight. I would guess somewhere along the lines some of the bolt holes are not in the correct place. It’s comfortable but expensive if so poorly made.

Tricky to assemble but a great chair
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 August 2019
Assembly was a bit of a nightmare, but you can't get a better swivel recliner for the price. It looks like a real piece of furniture in our lounge and is ideal for the member of the family who needs good back support. The recliner mechanism was a bit clunky until I used WD40 on the piston underneath the seat, so there is now a smooth lie back and return.

comfortable chair but dire instructions to assemble.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 September 2020
took some time to assemble from the instructions. At one point it really needs 2 people - one to hold things in place and one to assemble and screw down, but it is just possible to do alone. comfortable and good value for money, looks good in the room.
