I wanted something comfortable but also to match with my current outdoor furniture, which they do superbly.I managed to put the chairs together myself, they are easy to use , comfortable and a stylish addition to our garden, as you can tell my puppy loves them.

I'd looked at some other rattan furniture in shops, and wasn't always impressed with the quality, many looked very small and plasticky and certainly overpriced in my opinion.Firstly I'd like to comment on the packaging. Everything was carefully and securely packed. I appreciate that as furniture items have been damaged in transit in the past from other sites. I consider it a sign of care and attention by the manufacturer/seller and I appreciate it.The chairs were easy to assemble. 2 people are better than one, but my husband finished the second on his own so definitely doable. The instructions are clear enough and all the parts are in lettered bags to help prevent user mistakes.Once assembled the chairs are very sturdy. The seat is deep and overall very comfortable. The reclining feature is smooth and uses your body weight. The rattan does not have that very plasticky look that I dislike. I think the colour being lightly tonal gives a much nicer effect.I chose the khaki cushions, a lovely soft colour, exactly as pictured. The fit is perfect and no stitching mistakes. They fasten to the chair with velcro straps.I'd lover tarp covers as an option for them. But i'm sure i'll find something to fit.

However, it is a little more difficult to retract as you have to use your calves to push the foot rest down. In general it is not that difficult but it does require some leverage. see less
