- Can you use a smart bulb in this lamp, one that dimms?Of course you will be able to if the smartbulb itself dimms. The lamp itself just has an on/off switch.
- what bulb do I need?candle bulb screw fitting. the wattage is up to you.
- I have had it on five minutes it is becoming very very hot already unsafe ?Of course it is going to get quite hot when switched on, as a matter of light bulbs generating heat. Mine does get notably hot quite quickly, but it stays at the one level of heat. In truth, I've come to live with it at that intensity.
