Frequently Asked Questions
1Does the delivery packaging have for example holes/handles cut in to the box or something to make it easier to lift due to the weight? Thank you.
No, I have several of these lamps and they come in a cardboard box, with an Amazon box for delivery of the lamp. They are very heavy to move, but once in place look great ! There are no handles or holes in the box to assist with lifting.
2Compatible with a uk, or for that matter european, mains supply? the bulb blew after a few seconds. 250v (!) stated on fitting. worrying!
In the UK, the declared voltage and tolerance for an electricity supply is 230 volts -6%, +10%. This gives an allowed voltage range of 216.2 volts to 253.0 volts. So, there’s nothing to worry about as there are many things that can cause a bulb to fail, poor quality, mains voltage fluctuations etc.
3How long is the cable?
54 inch long
4ok to leave in bright sunshine window to heat naturally through the day
