  Cant fit a bulb inside it

  Lovely looking lamp, if you could actually get a light bulb to fit inside it it would be great! Its far to thin and you cant get your fingers inside it, none of us can do it, the sucker pad thats suppose to hold the lightbulb while you fit it doesnt actually stick to the lightbulb, sticks to lots of other things but not the bulb. Waste of money, no wonder its so cheap!

  Ue the correct lamps

  1. Product description states “Supplied with branded GU 10 lamps” – no lamps supplied2. Product description also states “1 x 35w GU10 Halogen Bulb (Sold Separately)”3. Both those statements irrelevant – the fitting is clearly marked “1 x Max GU10 5W Led max”. so both the stated lamps are totally against certification of the fitting.You must have totally flat glass faced LED lamp to use the supplied “sucker “ to fit lamp. Even then, it is extremely difficult. I removed the fitting’s lamp cylinder, from the base and fitted lamp then re-assembled.Otherwise ok

  A nice little floor lamp with inline switch . I put in a warm light bulb which works for me as I like a glow. It’s well made And looks good. I found like a previous reviewer that if take the 2 screws out from the sides of the lamp and lift it up slowly you can change the bulb easy.

  Nice product

  Small product perfect for space behind sofa to light dark corner we didn't have room for a full lamp in.Runs on LED and comes with a bulb sucker which is a little tricky but not too bad... once the bulb is in you won't need to change for a long time.Good price, only thing to think about would be where you out it thw control is close to the lamp itself but we switch on and off from the plug point higher up the wall so works a treat.

  Simple and highly effective

  I purchased these after much frustration with the angle poise lamp style desk light. They work superbly by directing light onto blinds behind my desk and provide a beautiful ambient effect.Construction is good (all metal), power cord long and in-line switch just works. The bulbs are a little tricky to fit without dismantling the unit, although this is a simple removal of 2 screws. Once LED's are in there, the chances are you'll never need to replace them.They look a lot more expensive then they were, I have seen lamps many times this price on the high street. Overall I am very pleased with mine, hope the uploaded pictures do them justice. Highly recommend.

  End result is fine but getting there is a nightmare

  Pros: study metal body and looks durable. Lights up dim corners very nicely.Cons: impossible to fit light bulbs.I read the previous reviews which said that it was really difficult to fit in the light bulbs and decided to give these lamps a go anyway since they seemed they would the right thing for our rooms. Regretted this choice instantly! There is no way to get your fingers around the bulb at all, impossible to get any traction to twist it in. The little suction cup provided is next to useless. In the end, it took perseverance and a washing up glove and about 15 min per lamp to get the bulb secured in. We’ve kept them because they do work nicely once the nightmare trial of the bulb is over.In summary: would I buy again? No. Am I hoping the light bulbs we fitted last for a decade? Yes.Buy these only if they are really the lamps for you because they require commitment.

  Stylish but flawed

  Absolute nightmare trying to insert a GU10 bulb into the fitting. The small suction cup they supply is useless, had to use a more sturdy one we'd already bought for our ceiling GU10 bulbs, but even with that it took a good 10 mins to line the bulb up and get the suction cup off without disconnecting the bulb. What a bad design, but hey it looks good!The other issue I have is with the heat it generates, the metal casing gets really hot. The volume of light is good though but have decided not to buy a second one due to the negative issues I've already mentioned.

  These lamps are very stylish. I bought a 2-pack in mirror black; to my eye there was a definite hint of bronze about them - not a deep black but a really lovely colour. The lamps look great so it is a shame that I have hidden them behind a pair of floor-standing loudspeakers. The effect on the walls and ceiling is very pleasing; the room seems larger than before. Like a couple of other reviewers, I found installing the lamps a bit tricky but removing the two screws near the bottom of the lamp made things much easier. I was tempted to remove one star from my rating but I like the lamps so much I didn’t want to give them any less than five stars. I am really pleased with these up-lights; they are well-made, attractive and very effective.

  Smaller than others on the market

  It does the job I wanted it for. But as others have commented, it is hard to get the bulb in. Mainly because the diameter of the tube is smaller than others, so even a female hand is tight. Then you can't get your fingers between the bulb and the edge of the tube.Also, it is not a shiny black as seems in the photos, it is more of a shiny dark grey.

  Lights up a dark place

  Used it to light up my fireplace, annoyed me it was always dark when not in use. Now I can see my much loved feature, great ambiance created , vision accomplished.
