- Does it come in one piece or could you pack it in a suitcase?Comes in multiple pieces and you put it together. So depending on the size of the case, yes it would go in. But check weight restrictions as the base is heavy
- Is the bulb needed screw fit?Yes you can buy Edison bulbs which look amazing
- Does the metal cage around the bulb get very hot if left on for several hours?Not that I've noticed I have one of those filament bulbs for the full effect I imagine they are low wattage
- Is this dimmable?It is not dimmable but it is a beautiful lamp with a solid marble base was very pleased with it.very sturdy not flimsy
