    The images on Amazon don't do this floor lamp justice. For the price I didn't have high expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Assembly is very simple and in no time you have a sophisticated lamp that is timeless. We have the Philips Hue system so we fitted a phillips colour ambient bulb - but you could fit any E27 bulb of your choice depending on shade and lighting requirements. Don't bother with John Lewis, buy this lamp and you'll be glad you did!

    This floor lamp is an absolute doddle to assemble, well protected in the packaging and very good value. It looks great in situ and I recommend it to others. Gives a lovely even soft light.

    This lamp has a lovely large globe shade.It has a sturdy weighted base.Assembly was straightforward.It looks great in my living room.I have used a Hive colour change bulb, with variable hues and dimmer options, which looks great with this lamp.If not on a timer, the foot switch is useful for easy on/off.

    Beautiful, stylish lamp. Very sturdy. Simple to assemble. Looks very smart. I’ve added a colour changing e27 light bulb to suit my mood.

    The lamp is quite attractive but the foot switch to put light on and off has failed on the 2nd day. Very disappointing and frustrating. Will have to fix myself too much hassle to return

    A gorgeous and good quality lamp

    I love everything about this lamp. It's classic and stylish, yet simple and gives off the perfect light. The base is weighted so the lamp is stable. It was easy and quick to assemble- just screws together and the joins are pretty much invisible.

  • Can I order a replacement globe? Mine was broken ny workmen.
    I'm not sure, you'd need to ask the supplier but you may be able to get a similar glass globe that fits from B&Q.
  • Can u adjust pole size or must be 171cm ?
    No, it's not adjustable.
  • Does the lampholder go inside the glass shade?
