- Once installed, how are the LEDs replaced should they need to be?You Would have to change the fitting as the lamp is non replaceable
- is this glass or plastic shade?It is plastic and very bright.
- Will a 15w LED fit on to an existing 24w unit terminal block that is secured to the ceiling?There are a neutral and feed (live) terminal block built in that connect to the switch and neutral. Usually but not always you will have more than one feed cable L&N&Earth that feed to one light then another to make a lighting circuit, these are usually connected with terminal blocks, from here a live is taken to th… see more There are a neutral and feed (live) terminal block built in that connect to the switch and neutral. Usually but not always you will have more than one feed cable L&N&Earth that feed to one light then another to make a lighting circuit, these are usually connected with terminal blocks, from here a live is taken to the switch (switch live or common it's known as) then from the switch to the fitting and a neutral is taken to the fitting from the feeds. To answer your question, the terminal block in the fitting is fixed in place so it's easier to remove the fitting and use the terminal block of your new fitting if it's supplied with the fitting if not a couple of 6amp terminal blocks will do it as the lighting circuit is usually 5amps at the consumer unit. see less
