However, to fix each of these taps, one does need a plumber unless, of course, one can do themselves. They look good and have improved the overall basin.

Look good, but only just fitted so can't comment on longevity. Plumber fitted them. Seem reasonably priced comparably and came promptly and very well packaged.

They enhance the overall look of the bathroom and I am delighted. They have only just been installed so I can't comment on their durability or propensity to tarnish over time but with due care I am hopeful that they will remain an outstanding feature of the bathroom.

- Gauge of pipe is it 1/2”All I know is that it is a standard basin fitting. The taps were fitted by a plumber and it is difficult to get behind the pedestal to check. They are very solid taps and good value for money. Sorry I can't help.

- Are the taps quarter turn ?The ones which just arrived are quarter-turn, although it doesn't say on the description at all - unsuitable so I'm returning them.
- are these taps easy to clean? I have hard water, the last pair i had (not yours) stain easily after a couple of days and they hard to clean. thank yoThey are easy to clean and we have hard water. I suggest you get a neutraliser fitted on your incoming supply mine really helps.
