    A classic design
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 October 2015
Like all classic design this just works with you not against you. I can think of at least four ways this glass can be securely held with either hand even when wet with spilled beer (shudders at the thought of wasted beer). The standard handle hold, like it's a teacup. The slider hold with the handle at 90 degs and three fingers through the handle and little finger underneath. The reverse hold with the handle pointed away and finger tips positioned securely in the dimples. The dying spider, the base held in a cupped hand with fingers securely placed in the dimples while your other hand rummages in the pocket of your levi flares for change/cigarettes/carkeys. Back to the future for the 70's/80's pub pundit! Perfection.

    What's not to like

Traditional Glass Pint Tankards CE - Set of 4 | Also known as Dimpled Beer Tankard, Britannia Pint Mug, Beer Stein, Beer Mug These glasses are excellent. My only difficulty was that the carrier managed to break a few, but the manufacturer sent replacements promptly. So full marks for customer service.I recently had some people round, and several people said how nice it was to have their beer in a good old fashioned tankard, and not one of those posh modernist ones!Need I say more? Good quality, good customer service, and happy in our dishwasher! What's not to like?!?

    Very good for the price.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 May 2020
The glasses are of good quality (no sharp edges on mine as some have reported). Mine do have the CE marks although it's faint but you can see it if you look hard enough! Can't quite understand some of the poor reviews. One thing is though, they do not hold a pint of liquid, just slightly less. Don't have a dishwasher so can't comment on that issue, but aside from that these glasses are very good value for the money.

    The good old dimple mugs
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 May 2018
These always remind me about going to the beach pubs with my dad when I was growing up some time ago! As things do these days they just came back into fashion thirty or so years on, so here you go I had to get myself a few to remind me of the good old days and now I can legally drink a pint out of these as well.Great seller as well. On receipt one mug was damaged and a replacement was sent in no time.

Does not hold a full pint
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 April 2020
These glasses comfortably hold a little over 500ml, which was probably the intention in manufacture. Try filling one with a full pint and it will overflow. There's no CE mark (whatever that is). No mark on the glass to indicate a pint measure. Undoubtedly this violates the Trade Descriptions Act.

    Proper beer glass :)
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 August 2018
I grew up with this kind of beer glass, so its the baseline for me. Even allowing for that, its a good solid glass, the handle is easier to hold on to than a straight sided glass, and it doesn't have a stem to detach with a bump. So its either this or a stein :)We keep breaking our glasses, so we can't maintain the continental style of a dedicated glass per drink, so this gets used for everything. Though port may be stretching things a bit.

Excellent looking (and feeling) tankard style glasses. Plenty of room for a variety of beverages, personally I shall be using these as props in my D&D games as Tavern Mugs because you know.....mead has to be drunk out of something.Came very well packaged with no chips or breakages. All in all I'me very happy with them. Now if you'll excuse me I have some thirsty adventurers awaiting the grizzled barkeep ;)

    Keep your beer safe
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 September 2019
good solid traditional beer glasses. My husband found the handle a little on the small side (couldn't get the required 3 fingers through) , but he has really big hands. The line from the moulding is very prominent which spoils the look just a little. But these are rough tough thick glasses and great value. Holds a pint (obvs). Will keep your beer nice and safe.

    Sturdy and exactly as desribed

Loved these, they were sturdy glasses which was great as others I've ordered aren't quite as chunky as these. Would definitely order these again and they were nicely packaged to avoid damage too.
