- Is it safe in the oven including handle ?Yes the pan including the handle is oven safe up to 220 degrees.
- Does having a ceramic surface make this frying pan heavy?Hi, it is a little bit heavier than a Tefal pan, but not super heavy. I'm 64 and can lift it without any issues. The heavier pan will conduct heat a lot better than thinner pans, which gives you a more even cooking surface throughout the entire pan and makes it possible to cook your food at a lower temperature. The heavier pan will conduct heat a lot better than thinner pans, which gives you a more even cooking surface throughout the entire pan and makes it possible to cook your food at a lower temperature. Which saves electricity and doesn't burn the food either. Even temperature 6-7 is plenty high to fry your food. I usually quickly heat the pan at 9 on the hob/stove and then turn it down to 6-7 to do the actual cooking/frying. Very rarely do I even use 8. I love this brand and their pots and pans.
