- Can this be used with a smart plug to programme when to come on/offIt should work but I'd advise extreme caution. This device is rated at 2kW so anything between it and the wall socket needs to handle a very high current draw. The heater has its own inbuilt timer, which may be of use to you. - Does it work if plugged on philips hue smart plug with bluetooth ? (want to turn it on/off via home kitSave your money and buy something else.the first one I got was badly put together,sent it back and got an exchange one, slightly better built but doesn't throw out much heat.
