BYECOLD FAR INFRARED HEATER WITH BUILT IN THERMOSTAT 580W

Customer Review

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Exceeded my expectations

I had purchased one heater (from a different seller) for my son's room and it was a little disappointing so I was really hesitant when ordering these as our living room/dining room and kitchen are open plan and I was worried it wouldn't heat the room efficiently. I WAS SO WRONG! These are amazing, we got two 700w and its a really even heat, it heated the room up within about 30 minutes which was amazing. It was a comfortable even heat. We ordered 3 days before Christmas and I wasnt expecting them to arrive in Cyprus in time but they did - Everyone in the family commented on how amazing they were at Christmas. Our buildings are not very well insulated in Cyprus (essentially concrete walls) and tile floors so we always struggled with the heating in the winter. I am really impressed, the units have a built in thermostat and remote controls that we can program which is fab.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Very very poor service Amazon and a very poorly made and shipped product

Damaged when delivered. Delivery driver left the goods at the door and basically left quickly before we could inspect the goods. Panel was damaged in several places and poorly packaged. Product we did not plug in so was not able to test. Build looked poor and materials used basic and value fir the money spent but would not recommend. Also we had to ship back to Amazon at our own cost and was not refunded for the postage or effort made to prevent further damage to goods. All in all a very poor experience as good were poor, service from Amazon was poor, no response for postage refund from Amazon and a lesson learned when buying large items online.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Byecold bye controller!

It gives off a good heat but i don’t think the remote works at altering the temperature at all! As when it has reached temperature and I turn it down via the control it doesn’t get any cooler in fact it seems to get hotter in the room so then we just turn it off. Also the instructions aren’t great and I usually pride myself in working out how things work but these instructions are a bit iffy translation in places! Does A job, but not the complete job.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Lovely idea

Easy to install, slim and light. Good heat output. Using for the home office log cabin. Remote working fine, would be great to have easy to read user manual, had some difficulties but sorted now, received good customer support. What about having a visual display indicator on the front panel to understand the unit is ON/OFF position to have better user experience. White colour look like a white board, what about to have few colour optoon to choose as well. Happy to recommend.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Just what the cold wanted.

I have got 2 of these panels, and so far they are doing a great job of heating my studio flat which only has a single 2.5kw convection heater. These panels both 350w each are doing a better job in keeping me warm at a fraction of the cost of running my convection heater, which is now turned off.Keep warm and save money.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Quiet efficient heating, but don't expect rapid heating.

Due to the pandemic I like many others have been working from home. In my case from my reasonable well insulated shed. My existing fan heater was keeping me warm, but was noisy and proving expensive to run. With all wall space used up my options were limited. The heater has proved to be very effective and once up to temperature maintains a steady heat. It's not good at instantly warming it up, but the timer and temperature controls can be set up so that my work space is cosy for when I start. I would definitely recommend buying this or another similar one with the remote control which sets the time and temp and is also the thermostat.I am enjoying the peace and quiet and the gently sunshine like heat.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Economical and works very well. Very pleasant radiant heat.

I have the panel pointing to / in direct sight of my bed.It will not wastefully heat the entire room - it is not designed to do so.Instead it gently warms the bed and the occupiers - notable difference in 5 mins or so.Panel is very well controlled with the "byecold WiFi Plug-in Thermostat Smart Remote Control" sold on Amazon by same seller. I love it.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Good quality heaters.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Just about Works.....

It works, the originally shipped item had a faulty remote. New remote was sent out to replace. If I was buying again I'd go for a number of smaller panels instead of one big one. And increase the wattage to do the job better......

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Sleek and ideal for garage.

Perfect for our garage - takes the chill off. Not yet able to confirm energy usage as still quite new.
