- Hi, does anyone know if these lamps will take a phillips hue gu10 as the hue bulb is slightly taller?I don't know how much longer the Hue is, but just to say there is more than enough room to accommodate a longer than normal bulb. On the top and bottom of the fitting there is a sealing glass plate, but there is nothing in between this and the bulb holder. - is it possible to have the wire come in either on the side, or underneath, as Im unable to have a wire from the backI should think so but you would need to channel a groove to allow the wire to sit in so that the light can keep flush to the wall.
- Can you fit a coloured bulbIf the bulb fits and is 40w equivalent then yes. I have fitted night and day bulbs so they turn on and off dependent on the available daylight
- Can you tell me please if the wiring is at the back or does it come in from underneathThe wiring enters from, more or less, the centre of the back plate.
