- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 December 2018Works with larger bulbs like Philips Hue GU10I’m quite amazed really, to say this wasn’t expensive, it looks and feels about four times the price. I was looking for an external light that accepted larger GU10 bulbs (I have two colour hue bulbs that i wanted to use) and this is perfect. I have a ring video doorbell which detects movement, so I use the doorbell trigger to turn this new light on via the ‘if this then that’ app and it works flawlessly. If i want to use the light, i leave it turned on all the time and turn the hue bulbs off via the hue app on my ipad - don’t buy the light with the sensor if you want to use hues as it won’t work very well.

Solid aluminium build and has rubber seals around the joins and the screws. Feels like it should last a long time and should not leak - I will update this once they have had a few showers.The only consideration is that the cabling needs to come through the back of the bracket and while this works in most installations it could be a concern if you wanted to run a cable down the wall into the unit.Good looking and the light is nice and bright.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 November 2017Outside house light.This is a nice solidly built light that reflex up and down.My new house number can now be seen at night from the road which is about 30 odd ft away.An electrician fitted it. He had a small problem connecting the wiring to get the PIR detector working but eventually got that sorted.(I’m not sure why) it works so I’m happy.

Small screws at top and bottom of light which are difficult to reach once the back plate of the light is attached to the wall. You need a long thin screwdriver which has a magnetic top as the screws are very small and fall easily. Once installed looks smart and provides a very good light.

- Hi. I bought four and. a bulb has fused in one of them. Does anyone know if that can be replaced or does the entire unit need to be changed?Hi, you can replace the lamps individually, undo the two Allen screws, remove lens and rotate lamp slightly to remove. Hope this helps Paul.
- does it come on by itself at night time & off at dawn? Or you have to physically switch it on & off? My one that I’m replacing comes on at night onlyYes you have to physically switch on and off or it burns all the time . Have to buy a timer device. On plus side a good bright light
- Is there an ip rating for this lamp? if its foroutside use it should have one. thanksNot aware that it had to have one, so didn't look. We no longer have the packaging but all working well with no problems at the moment.
- which is the live connector as the wiring is black or white with an earth. Nothing in the instructions to indicate live or neutral.I struggled with this. I can’t remember now and as my lights are now screwed to the wall I can’t look to see BUT as I remember it, if you look carefully along the edge of the terminal block you will see “L” and “N” in tiny letters.
