Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 August 2020Good value for money compared with more expensive ones. The parasol arrived 2 days early which was fine with us and the seller did let us now it would be, which is a nice touch. Keeping the customer in the know is something a lot of sellers don't do. The product is lovely to look at, the poles are sturdy and the fabric feels thick and of quality material. It's easy to put together and a simple press of a button allows the user to slide the parasol open. The tilt mechanism locks into place when in use. The height can be adjusted because when the top pole is inserted into the lower one there is no stop inside, therefore the unit can be lowered to a height to suit the user. The actual lock for the poles is a large diameter knob, which has on the inside of the bottom pole a curved clamp piece that follows the pole's circumference and is better for clamping than the usual bolt which can dig into the metal and cause a dent. Lastly the size of the poles. I ordered a base that you can fill with water, based on the sizes given in the Q & A section. On seeing the poles I realised that they looked thicker than suggested, either that or the specs' have changed recently. Anyway, I got out my trusty micrometer and I can safely say that the top pole is near as damn it 28mm and the bottom pole is 32mm in diameter. Luckily my base will take up to 32mm. Hope this review helps.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 May 2020Lovely but bigger than you may thinkBuy a decent base - I love the parasol but it falls over - also check the width of your table - it wouldn’t fit through the centre hole

The edge of the frame has broken off and the piece was not enclosed. I am disappointed about the the presentation of the fabric. The hem has not been finished and with the frame being broken, it looks cheap no tacky. I am not happy with product.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 May 2021Cheap, poorly madePoorly made, cheap plastic. Does the job but it's difficult to open and very flimsy. If you're looking for something to last that's good quality I'd steer clear. It will probably last one summer. Disappointing
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 June 2021Value for moneyI liked the fact you could higher or lower the poleI had difficulty pushing the brolly up so should have got one with a crank handle.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 October 2020Buy cheap buy twiceSo we bought two of these at the same time and they looked great. Then the first one broke just after the return period. Thought it was just a badly made one but now this one is broken.Cheap metal on the frame means it just bends and then the wire pops out and won't stay up.Also you would expect them to be water proof but as you can see in the pic, it is starting to rust. The other one didn't even get chance to rust.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 June 2020Large, heavy parasol.Although the parasol it's self is large and looks durable I have concerns over the plastic connection lasting very long. The parasol is rather heavy so it tends to slide down into the lower pole as the plastic connection is not strong enough to hold the weight when the poles are connected. It also needs a large heavy base to stop it from blowing over in the wind as it is top heavy. However it is a large parasol and blocks the heat very well as well as the sunlight.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 September 2020Value for moneyWasn’t very sturdy at all. But at the end of the day is was good for the price. Also not very big. Did not cover our patio table which is not that big. At least you can angle it to be out of the sun.

Very easy to assemble and very sturdy. The finish is surprisingly very good and the tilt feature is great. This genuinely puts my £120 other umbrella I got from B&Q to shame.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 August 2021Very good value for the money paid.I am using it for a small table and 2 chairs on a small patio very good value for money. It was difficult to find a smallish shade in that colour.
Customer questions and answers
- Locking knob size plz I have lost mine does anyone know the size plz x does anyone know plz ?I can measure mine next time I am at my allotment? It’s where I use mine?
- 1.Please confirm pole diameter at the base. 2.Is it the same diameter at the top of the poleNo it's smaller at the bottom otherwise the top pole wouldn't fit into the bottom one.
- Does this parasol completely block out the sun 100%?..some parasols use a thin material which doesn’t completely block out the sun...thanks in advanceI have two paradise so not sure what one this is but both block out the sun.
- When i untwist button at top of the lower pole, nothing shifts inside the pole so i can't slide the top in. is it faulty or am i missing something?Obviously not used since last year, however I just open a bit and slide up to the top then it clicks in . You have to really push hard to push in the button when you want to release it. If it doesn't happen like this then it's not correct. Speak to supplier to find out more.
