It looks to be good quality but, unfortunately,the pole is so wide it would not fit in either of my parasol bases so I decided to return it. The seller’s return instructions said it had to be returned to Deuba in Germany by dpd tracked, even though it was despatched from Deuba uk in Suffolk. The cost of this would have been more than £30, so it was cheaper to keep the parasol and buy a new base, which I have done. I look forward to using it if and when the weather improves.

The winding mechanism has needed a little help to get it going but otherwise it's great. Like everyone says, the blue is darker than the picture but I was prepared for that and I like it.

- Bought one of these recently could somebody supply a link to a base that fits? ThanksI bought Livivo 9.5 kg bronze effect rose pattern. I could have bought heavier but my mum needs to drag it around patio and can't lift. Seems good quality. Need a spanner set to fix.

- What base do I need for my umbrellaShould fit most bases. I had an old metal base and the parasol fitted that.
