- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 July 2020Good value, well made, 100% waterproof.Colour is neutral giving good shade.Fabric seems decent and with strong attachment eyes.My experience so far is that it is 100% waterproof so it can pool water which will add potentially destructive weight on the canopy, it is better to take it down if heavy rain is expected.Pleased with the canopy which has met my expectations.

I can sit under it away from the suns blazing rays or just enjoy a drink or two on an evening in my little extension of the house. It’s everything and more than the description for a fantastic price, speedy delivery and easy installation!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 June 2021Take down when it rainsI was initially very pleased with this item. We had some unexpected rain during a very sunny period. There was not excessive rain but it was enough to cause destruction in my garden. I had this attached to a concrete fence post - the weight of the rain on the sail brought down the concrete post and a fence panel (which then resulted in an injury when trying to move said concrete post). I know now to take this down every evening in case of overnight rain. I have attempted to put this back up but the weight of the rain has stretched the material so in order to use this I have had to make some adjustments. A good product but just need to be careful if it rains.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 July 2019Wasn’t waterproof as statedVery disappointed in this sail when I got it and husband put it up for a party it looked lovely and was supposed to be waterproof like stated but found out differently when it started raining sitting all nice a dry with my family then start leaking in in the seams and radome parts of the sail and had to proceed indoors so in morning husband took it down absolutely soaked so very annoyed it spoilt our party

I can feel the water resistance in the fabric finish but haven’t proven its use in rain.Edge seams are strong if you are stretching the sail fairly tight between fixing points. Overall really pleased and would happily recommend this product.

We needed a an economical way of providing shade, that would be easy to put up and take down and not take up much space for storage. The shade sail has D rings at the corners that we can use to attach to the house wall with hooks and the other corners can be held by tent poles with guy ropes. It seems to do the trick and can be easily taken down if it gets windy.

There seems to be too much slack in the material which has a tight boarder around it, which allows this to happen. not sure how to get around this as we have changed the height of each of the corners to irregular levels to try and help but to no avail ?

- Is the 3m x 3m down the side or across the diagonal?The size its from side to side. Kind regards.
- What dimensions are the narrowest parts of the material? If it much narrower than 2m it might not be suitable for meHi, it's not much narrower. I cannot give you the exact measurements because I haven't put it up yet this year. If it helps, I initially bought 3x4 thinking that 2x3 was going to be too small; however, it was huge, so I returned it and bought the smaller size and I was surprised about how much it covers!
- Is the sail made out of two pieces of fabric sewn in middle or comes as one piece?It is two pieces sewn together. There is a seam runs down the middle and also around all of the edge. It is very strong but I would suggest buying a metal fixing. We use 4 steel chains with the metal adjustable tensioners for each corner, with these you can get it very tight and installation is easy.
