How we picked
We check the price of every electric fire in our Electric Log Stoves category every day and keep a 12-month history for each one. Before anything can be picked it has to pass the same checks: it must really be a electric fire (accessories, spare parts and products listed in the wrong category are left out), be in stock with a current price, and — where Amazon shows ratings — have at least 4.0★ from 20 or more reviews.
- Best overall — the strongest rating, weighted by how many people reviewed it.
- Best value — a top-rated pick at or below the typical price for the category.
- Premium pick — the best-rated option at the top end of the price range.
