• ★★★★★★★★★★ If only all flat pack furniture was this good

During lockdown I've experienced a few flat packs, they have either been badly packaged & damaged in transit, incredibly complex to build or very flimsy. This is none of those things. Its so well packaged that opening the box was the longest part of the build process. Simple to construct, they say 20 minutes but I did it in 17 minutes. Once built its solid & looks fantastic. Very happy

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Solid well made and very easy to assemble

I found these items very well made and the fitting system was easy to use and instructions very clear and precise. I actually completed the assembly on my own as I do not have 'another' to help and found it very easy to do - I completed it within an hour and it is solid and very attractive to look at. Would use this company again for other items if I purchase again.

USEFUL TO FIT IN A LIMITED SPACE

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Perfect fit for my use, very narrow which is just what I needed

I my case I have a room knocked into one so the pillar for the supporting beam is 23mm in width and my couch sits tight up to it. on one side whilst the living room door opens inwards against it on the other. I have always hated the fact that the current side table, which was the narrowest I could get at the time at 30cm protrudes into the path of the door-arc actually prevented the living room door opening all the way.At just 20cm in width, this will take up hardly any room at all at the side of a couch. It fits perfectly against the face of the pillar and the couch and for the fist time my door will open fully. Why on earth the instruction advises two persons is beyond me, mine were so easy to put together alone that I can only think it's an over-the-top health and safety issue, I always use decent wood glue when assembling these types of furniture, but in this case there's no need as the dowels are plastic and the cam-lock posts are a design that I've not come across. They simply push in easily and when the two pieces are joined and the cam screw is tightened it lifts up the cam in the post and it basically acts like a screw would. It's a really good grip once tightened to the second position, which is also different to the older type which had just one.I also always have some wood filler handy just in case the machinery that pre-drills cam and dowel holes get a little to boisterous and drill too deep. It adds a day onto the construction for it to dry but it gets it right. In the case of both these (I bought two), that step was not necessary. However the cam screws are tightened there is about a millimetre drop from being flush with the surface, this does not help at all when placing the stickers over them at the last stage as there is literally nothing for them to grip onto, apart from a sliver of the wood surface around the edge of the cam screw. I cannot see them getting past more than a few dusting and polishing's before they dislodge. I was thinking of using Gorilla Glue in the centre to hold them....A note about my purchase though. I was going to buy this particular one on Amazon but I also always look around to see if it is cheaper elsewhere. In this case there was. On a Wayfair there is one called the Barbara Side Table which comes in the same colours, has the same dimensions, and has no discernible difference that I can see, apart from the price. At £37.99 it is £13 cheaper than this one.For the price I cannot complain, I only wish they came in black but I am fortunate that my new settees are going to be anthracite and dark grey and they also match my carpet too. The main bonus for me it they are the perfect width.

Good product and easy to assemble. It looks nice. May need rigid joint blocks for complete stability
