Harrogate Fabric Dual Motor Rise Recliner
The Harrogate Rise Recliner features a dual motor mechanism and has been designed for those who need special assistance when standing up from being seated in a chair. Simple to operate, the four-button handset allows you to either rise or recline your chair at the touch of a button. The rise function will lift the chair to an almost standing position, while the recline function will allow you to adjust the chair to an almost sleeping position. You can move the backrest and footrest independently making it perfect for all your needs.
The Harrogate has a textured fabric cover and a buttoned back cushion. With its supportive padding, this rise recliner offers superior comfort. Available in a brown and grey, the chair is suitable for a range of rooms and interior décor schemes. Due to the smooth rise and recline mechanism, this chair is ideal for people with mobility issues.
All of our Rise Recliners are supplied in two separate sections - the base and the backrest. This enables easy removal from the box and so you can transport within the home, navigating doorways and staircases. Once situated, the backrest simply clips into the rear section of the base to allow instant relaxation and comfort in your new chair.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 April 2020Product very good but delivery service left a lot to be desiredThe chair itself is very sturdy, nice sleek design and modern fabric pattern unlike some old fashioned recliners out on the market. I was a bit disappointed there were no instructions for the seat controls but overall I think the chair is very good value for money although I did have to assemble the chair myself..The delivery guy brought two large boxes to the door, one of which was on a trolley (first hint it was very heavy) and just walked away. The property is a maisonette, so we had to get the heavy chair up the stairs.I'm giving the guy the benefit of the doubt because he has probably been told not to go into people's houses with the coronavirus but to dump the boxes outside a flat in the centre of town was not good. We could not carry the heavier box ourselves, (me and my Mothers carer ) so I had to call my brother to come help us. If I had not had someone else to help me locally we would have had to leave the box outside our flat just off the main High Street. Good job it wasn't raining too.It was clear he wanted to keep his distance and so did we but using a bit of common sense would be helpful in future. Wear a mask and gloves but at least get the box through the door and not leave it out in the street and drive off.

Had a few other ones (a lot more expensive) delivered to his house only to have to return them, this was by far the best and great value. It’s a nice looking chair and very comfortable. So easy to operate. I would highly recommend, save your £’s on those really expensive ones, which I had to return.

- Can you put control on left sideI'm not sure. The cable comes out through the side pocket on the right side. There is a side pocket on the other left too so maybe there is an option to thread it through either side when you assemble it.

- What are the weight limit that this chair will takeI don't know the exact weight it will take but it will take at least 16 Stone because that is about what my Mother weighs. I can't find my instruction booklet but seem to think it was up to about 20 Stone.
