I contacted the seller immediately explained the problem , e - mailed a couple of pictures of the damage , within 3 days had a new damage free shade . I am very pleased with this purchase and this seller I will buy more from them in the future .

Same good quality, ... nice smallish size for those who have only modest size rooms. Base just a tad light in weight, so if you have a tendency to be a bit clumsy, it can be tipped-over... Although so far it's only the cat taking a short cut flyer to the window ledge that nearly had it over, as in teetering back and forth for a moment or two... Good buy. Would buy again when needs occur.

I think they're great - I'm really fussy with lamp design and I find it really really hard to find lamps I like, so I Was pleased to find this at such a reasonable price. It's really good value for money - highly recommend.

Colour was spot on which was an important part and the reason I picked them. Only down side is... They are very light. ( no pun intended) They look more solid then they are. thought,for some reason, they would be made of a heavier steel but hey!! They look great. Well happy.

- is it bright when lit.The light is warm and not over whelmed brightness which allows you to watch your tv or read in comfort.
- Is the shade colour natural cottonnette like like floor lamp? Im buying the pair.When I bought the lamps, the shades were identical colorwise and texture. Second buy of the table lamp also the same shade colorway and texture. we are thinking of a third addition to our 'collection'... and would be confident receiving something pretty darn close to the previous purchases.
- is it nice and bright when lit.The level of brightness will, of course, depend on the bulb that you use but the shade does allow a lot of light through. They look beautiful lit.
- Is this a touch lamp?No, not a touch lamp. Ordinary On/Off switch is integral with bulb holder.
