If you try to serve anything with a runny sauce (curry) hard to prevent it running off the side of the plate as you were eating. Also, I didn’t notice before buying, but they cannot be used in a microwave. Would not buy again and maybe forced to replace very soon.

The second set I ordered had also been damaged during transit causing the melamine on one plate to chip. The very sharp chip of laminate punctured my partners finger. These were also returned for a refund. Finally ended up ordering a set from a different maker and these were delivered OK.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 March 2018FineLook to be up to spec as listed. Quite fashionable if you like that pattern. Seem to be microwave safe. The dinner plates however are a wee bit smaller than usual, however suits me as I have limited space in my camper.

- What's the length of the dining plates please? Are they ok for dishwasher use?25cm (10.5 inches) yes they are fine in the dishwasher
- What is the diameter of the plates, please?Really sorry I am unable to answer this as they are stored away in my caravan, however, when I opened them I didn't think that they were particularly small/big so just standard size I guess.
- Can uou use the in microwaveNo, melamine cannot be used in a microwave
- Do the plates have a little dip in them like normal plates i.e not flat like the cheaper ones ?Yes they do, they are very hard-wearing, perfect for camping, or for someone who can't lift heavy plates.
