Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 August 2018Decent durable knife if you take care of it.I use this knife on a daily basis to chop onions, garlic, veges and to cut chicken. It still looks reasonably new after 8 months of heavy use.I do sharpen it every 2 days and the plastic sleeve protects the blade when the knife is kept in a drawer. Decent utensil for the price you pay.Edit: 23 November 2019. I've been using this for 2 years and the blade has shown no signs of rusting. The sign has faded from the blade and I sharpen it regularly. Cuts like new.I rarely use the two smaller knives so those are still brand new. Definitely worth buying.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 December 2016It's fun to prep food! These are incredible. Simple as that. In fact, they are so sharp and precise that I have opted to chop onions and garlic using these instead of my food processor. They make it fun and effortless. Also, used them to peel oranges, butternut squash, potatoes etc. And bread with a thick crust - the bread knife cuts it nicely without cracking the rest of the loaf. Excellent - recommended wholeheartedly.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 April 2021Excellent knifes, don't be fooled by the low price. They're amazing!Excellent knifes. I spent weeks researching, reading every review available, every top 10 list. I was tearing my hair out with my indecisive nature. These knifes kept appearing in the "best knife" reviews. But I thought they can't be that good at that price, surely I should invest in a more expensive set.But eventually I was simply fed up of looking so bought these thinking at least they'll last for now and they haven't cost a lot.Well they are fantastic, incredibly sharp! Had them a while now and I'm not experiencing any downsides at all. They slide through everything I've cut with ease, and clean very easily. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 May 2019False economy. These knives look, cut & feel the part. The quality of the blade however has left me feeling a little deflated as despite initial good results the blade of one knife is already showing signs of rust despite me being careful when washing & drying. I have only been using these knives for a couple of weeks & already have to concider replacing one of them & I don't know how long the other two will last. If you can afford a better quality blade then avoid these & buy others.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 May 2018WonderfulI have always wanted a set of kitchen knives but unfortunately we've always bought a sharp / kitchen knife as and when we needed. Also my hubby is not keen on having a knife block on the kitchen worktop. We recently broke on of our sharp vegetable kitchen knives and I went ahead, looked at the kitchen knives on Amazon and found this set of 3 which had good reviews. How can someone rave so much over a kitchen knife? Well, I can because they are superb. Firstly, I like the covers on them as I keep them in my kitchen drawer and there will be not chance of cutting a finger when picking the knife out of the drawer, excellent. Secondly, I used the smaller knife yesterday to cut up a lot of strawberries and found it an excellent knife, sharp, solid, firm, comfortable handle and consider it a first class knife.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 August 2019Sharp, easy to see and safely cover a bonus! The above suggested star rating system was based on ease to hold/comfort so whilst I gave a 5/5 these were not my criteria. They are, however, excellent knives to take camping! I wanted something colourful so that if it was dropped on the grass they could be seen easily and I also like the fact they had the blades covered for safety as I obviously didn’t have a knife block with me! They are superbly sharp, cutting through even chewy old french stick. Easy to find in camping box when rooting around and having the blade cover eased my nerves ! Great knives for what I wanted.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 July 2017Sharp, great covers, and cheap enough to go through dishwasherNice and cheap, colourful and great covers. However, I stick them through the dishwasher and they do tarnish (small rust spots that can wipe off), but I think that would be the same with any knife. I like these as I can put these through the dishwasher, rather than my glibal knives, and I don't mind if they get knackered. Still sharp and no sign of blunting
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 June 2020So sharp. Great value.I really like colourful knives so I can find them easily in drawers and the dishwasher. These are lovely to hold. I used the serrated one to slice a tomato and got the thinnest slices I've ever managed to achieve. Very sharp. Good job they come with matching blade shields. It's a shame they don't say they're dishwasher safe. I'll hand wash them for a while but, no doubt, they'll end up in there eventually. I'll try to remember to update my review when that happens.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 January 2018Absolutely spot on!I have used these several times now over the last few days. They are lightweight, sharp, with colour coded handles which are nicely shaped. The quality is actually really good. They come with a protector sheath for when not in use which slides on and off easily. These are really cheap and even if they did cost a little more, I would be very happy to still give them a great review as they really are a good set of knives and the price is fantastic. They also arrived super quick. Very pleased!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 October 2021Not sharp & quality of metal / stainless blade poor! They were not as sharp as I would have liked .. cut through paper easily when arrived so thought all was good but this is lost a little with use … also and I never realised until I went to use the large purple knife but the tip is buckled which is annoying because I use the tip when slicing things like tomatoes. Like the colours and the sleeves just wish they were sharper.

- 3 knives -- okay. But how long are the blades? An obvious piece of info -- but not supplied. Now that I have used them for a while I think the one I use a lot is already dull. Regular size for a household kitchen, but not sure how soon I will need to purchase a better quality set, that stays sharp. I have only been cutting veg with them. ?! Hope that helps. - Are they okay in the dishwasher?Have had knives for 2years and always put in dishwasher but whilst blades fine the handles have disintegrated so I might replace with another set and handwash this time.
- where are the knives made?Who knows... Probably china. Can tell you that I've had this knife set for nearly ten years and all three are used daily - they're all razor sharp and in very good condition. I sharpen them maybe once every couple of months and only hand wash them. Top value.
