But also this is a bit more of a unique take on the "oil slick" colouring that you usually see. But also, they come in a set of 6 as opposed to 4, which means we can use them for the once in a blue moon entertaining we do. And by that I mean we either cook for his parents or my parents. Never both at the same time. Ever.Oh, and randomly, one spoon is purple not yellow, not a problem, just an observation

Much more yellow than shown in the image. There was little to no blue, pink or purple in my set.I also noticed most of the utensils had strange lines through them, as if the treatment process hadnt worked properly. Some parts were actually void of colour and you could see the silver base metal beneath, giving them this worn-out, tired appearance. A few had some colour streaking and strange "bleeding" of purple spots along the edges, making them look very mismatched. Perhaps I got a duff set?The metal itself is solid, not too heavy, feels like quality, and there was no colour loss or scratching when used and washed.The teaspoons are almost as big as the table spoons, which isn't a bad thing. I was perfectly happy with that. The knives cut well. Honestly no functional drawbacks.However, since my set wasnt very well coloured, it looked a bit naff. I ended up donating them to my student friend, and bought a much more radiant 16 piece rainbow set from ASDA for £13 in the sale. The two sets seem to be identical in all honesty, possibly made by the same manufacturer? But the Asda one just came with a lot more colour and far fewer imperfections.

Did expect to have to switch back to my stainless steel set as I was convinced the gold would wear/wash off. It hasn’t!! They still look good as new 4 months on!!! Highly recommend this set and will purchase again!!

Beautiful colour and brightens up all my white crockery. Very fun to use but does everything it needs to do as cutlery. The teaspoons are a little bit large but I am getting used to them and the tablespoons could be slightly deeper. The knives are nice and sharp but I tinsy bit big to fit in a standard cutlery compartment. If I was being picky I would say their is too much yellow in each item and needs to be more multicoloured all around as that's why people by the product. However I would deffo buy this product again and recommend to others.

They are beautifully coloured, they attract compliments from guests, they are nice and sturdy to hold, knives cut well, easy to wash (by hand - not tried in a dishwasher as I don't have one yet), yes the teaspoons are bigger than normal tespoons but I like that.

- Does this cutlery stain with tea etcI've had the set since early December and so far tea has not stained them. I've used these sets in the past and if they do stain, it's at the same speed as regular cutlery.
- What is the presenting box that the cutlery come in?The cutlery were in individual paper sleeves. The box is a normal box with a see through bit at the top to see cutlery. You can easily keep in to store.
