  Update: 15 months on and still good.

  They are as described so far. I've only owned and used these for a few weeks and so far they perform very well.Strangely, I find the frying pans often outlast the saucepans in these sets. But, buying the sets without the frying pans works out less economical.However, I really like these and the price and performance make them a really good buy overall.I cannot award for longevity at this time hence the 4 stars. If they last 2 years they will be worth 5 stars.Update: Our Tefal Origins pans have been used every day and cleaned by hand and a quick wipe with a sponge-backed nylon scourer. If anything should stick just leave to soak for five minutes in warm water.Ours still look almost new. The base has ridges/valleys which makes it hard to get all staining off.I have uploaded photos of these 15mo pots and pans.I have increased my review to five stars.

  Great set of pans.

  Great pans, very lightweight and so easy to clean. At first I was a bit put off by the light weight, ( I associate heavier weight with better quality). But so far, so good. No problems with the non stick coating so far. Only criticism is that the handles need screwing in tight to the main frame of the pan occasionally, but that is easily resolved with a screw driver. Other than that really good pan set.

  Great Quality, Value Pans, Long Lasting and Easy to Clean

  Who doesn't like Tefal? I bought these on offer at £34.99 to replace my existing Tefal sets, which have been going strong for nearly 13 years now. I think at the time they were bought for about £30 on a similar offer, so that's an amazing cost per usage over the timespan. The main difference between these 2 sets of pans is that the new ones are white speckled inside and out, compared to the original all black finish. This can make cleaning the inside a bit of a pain, as you sometimes think you've missed something when cleaning, but apart from that they're great.They were slightly lighter and thinner than my original pans, so definitely less weighty to use, but not a big deal to me. They're sitting on my cooker rings - I'm not swinging them around like Wimbledon Tennis Racquets! :-)To summarise, I'd say that these are a great buy when on a £30-£40 price point / special offer. Great service from Amazon too regarding delivery a day earlier than planned. Would I buy at the Recommended Retail Price? Probably not, especially knowing and feeling the difference in quality compared to my 13 year old original set of pans. For anyone curious as to why I was replacing my original set, some of the saucepan lids were dropped and the rims bent out of shape, and the screw holding the most commonly used pans would come loose gradually and needed frequent re-tightening. My advice - Buy them on offer when you see them! Hope this review helps!

  Great pans

  Bought for a family member desperate for some new pans. Much cheaper than some supermarket alternatives. Great quality and lasting very well with use of them everyday. Have seen some reviews complaining they are not lasting but in our case they are used and washed everyday and are still in perfect condition, would definitely recommend especially if on a discounted offer again.

  Tefal Origins 5 Piece Stone Pots and Pans set

  Great pots and pans set, brilliant value for money. The stone effect finish is really sleek and modern looking. The handles feel really good quality and don't heat up when used on hob so safe to use. I haven't used them in the oven yet but excited to try this functionality. Wash really well in the sink. Have popped them in the dishwasher once and they came up really well. The large frying pan is a bit on the small size but it is ok for the 2 of us. I will need to supplement the set with a larger frying pan in the future. Overall great set.

  Tefal Origins 5 pc pan set

  I have to admit, was a little worried at first when I saw on box Made in China. Preferred option would be made in France because many reviews seem to have a problem with Tefal pans made in China. However, I have been using mine for a few weeks now and they do the job beautifully and wash really well. Always used Tefal, only the second set of pans I have bought in last 20 yrs. Hope these will last me another 20 yrs!

  Not really worth buying if you want a decent set of pans. Far to light, with a tendency to burn foods easily. Time will tell how the non-stick holds out, but really wish I'd simply got a heavily more robust set. Don't think these will last.

  Poor quality, terrible value for money

  Absolutely dreadful value for money. Handles have all gone loose after 4 months usage, especially the largest pan which is now useless. Would never buy this brand again.

  the pans mark a ceramic hob

  I bought these specifically to use with my new ceramic hob cooker as the description states it was suitable for ceramic and induction hobs - it is not! The first i used a pan it marked the ring, thought it was me so used a frying pan on a different ring and now my cooker looks really old instead of the week and half that i have had it

  Great cooking set, bought as a gift, recipent very impressed. Good quality, easy to clean and easy to store. Good value for money.
