Approx 2. 3M tall provides cover from the sun or light rain. We would recommend not using during windy weather and to put down the parasol when not in use. Cover or bring inside for the winter months. Please note that the parasol base is not included.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 June 2019Shade on a sunny day.Our old parasol had given us good service but finally needed replacing. This parasol was ideal. It was the same size as our previous one (2.1m) which suited us as space is limited on our tiny patio. It was easy to assemble. Just take it out the box, insert the base pole into the top pole until it clicks into place (picture 4) . To open the canopy just turn the ratchet clockwise and to lower, anti-clockwise. There is a little sign on the handle, just in case you’re not sure (picture 2) You can also tilt the canopy to about a forty five degree angle if the sun is an awkward position. Just push in the silver button near the top of the top pole and tilt the canopy (picture 3) We are very happy with the parasol so far. We also purchased a base elsewhere on Amazon to make sure it stayed in place in breezy weather. Now all we need is some sunny weather and a large gin and tonic or two.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 May 2020RUSTY AND UNDERSIZED........Received item very quickly but when I opened the box I found quite a lot of Rust, yes Rust ???Also when I got it assembled it turned out to be Only 1.6 Meters Wide, that is Half A Meter Too Short ???Advertised as 2.1 Meters.Extremely Disappointed, Pointless Having It!!Currently Awaiting Seller's Response...
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 June 2020This umbrella is NOT UV protectiveI was pleased with the product generally but unfortunately bought it to protect me from the sun, so I was able to join in with others who like to sit in the sun in the garden.Unfortunately even though I felt cold under the umbrella so was shaded- the UV still came through and I got badly sunburt using this. It is not UV protective so if you want any protection from the sun do not buy this product.

My only minor concern is the pole is very thin aluminium and I think any breeze could bend it but that's not happened yet so maybe it's fine but take care in any wind. Still very pleased though and good value.

This also happened with my rattan furniture an extra £28 which meant I had paid £56 pond postage for that item , not a happy customer .

- 1) Is the umbrella definitely 2.1m diameter - some reviews suggest it is not and 2) what is the delivery saving if I buy a base from the same seller?The parasol is 2.1m wide. Only one postage charge will be applied.
- Does this have Uv protection?If it does it doesn’t work. Brolly good but colourfaded quickly
- Can someone tell me the width once open - it loses some due to the curve but need to know actual open width not total diameter of 2.1Mine only measures 1.6 Meters and it was Rusty ???
