Waterproof

The shade sail is made of 160GSM PES material, PU coated, blocks up to 98% of UV rays, and has a shade rate of 90%- 95% (white series 85%-90%). It is resistant to light rain and has a water pressure resistance of 400 kPa. Please do not use it in heavy rain or storms

Installation

Waterproof shade sails need to be installed at a 30-degree angle with maximum tension to allow run off and face up. Otherwise the water may accumulate and affect the use of the shade canopy

Splicing Process

To improve the waterproof performance, we use hot-melt adhesive and splicing process. Most sizes consist of two pieces of shade fabric, but you don't have to worry about leaks at the splice
