How we picked
We check the price of every office chair in our Ergonomic Office Chairs With Lumbar category every day and keep a 12-month history for each one. Before anything can be picked it has to pass the same checks: it must really be a office chair (accessories, spare parts and products listed in the wrong category are left out), be in stock with a current price, and — where Amazon shows ratings — have at least 4.0★ from 20 or more reviews.
- Best overall — the strongest rating, weighted by how many people reviewed it.
- Best value — a top-rated pick at or below the typical price for the category.
- Best deal right now — the biggest drop below its own 12-month average price (only products with at least 5 days of price history).
Picks are refreshed as prices change, so this page always reflects today’s prices rather than a fixed list.
