  What. A. Night.

  Firstly, the material is good quality, looks good, feels nice and soft and first impressions is that it's going to be warmer come winter time than our ordinary sheets and duvet covers. Time will tell - we're having a bit of a heatwave in Bournemouth at the moment, but it was a cooler night last night than it has been recently and I had to keep turning the duvet back as it was too warm.We're noobies when it comes to Satin sheets - this is our first set ("Satin ? No, but we've laid on it a few times").My good lady and myself decided to christen the new bedding, like you do.Ha. What fun.Talk about a slip and slide. And that was just the bedding.This stuff is super slippy.We've never been ones for keeping to the traditional heads-at-the-pillow-end, feet-pointing-south positions. We tend to lose ourselves in the moment and end up pointing NE, SW, SSW, ENE; you name a compass position, we've tried it; well they do say that variety in the bedroom keeps a marriage healthy. But on this occasion we had to keep adjusting where we were in order to not repeatedly adjourn to the bedroom floor.At one point I took a running jump, mounted my good lady like a skimming board, travelled a couple of feet and we ended up in a crumpled heap over by the bay window. We haven't laughed so much since Margaret Thatcher died.Highly recommended.Oh, and we slept well too.

  Beautiful silver satin 7 piece bed set

  Wow oh wow are these satin bedcovers gorgeous!!!I was dubious about buying them as well due to some negative reviews on the item page, but yet went ahead as I was so in love with them, and just prayed mine were okay once they arrived.Well honestly I can’t figure out what the negative reviews are about. The covers are perfectly as described.The fitted sheet fits perfectly on my king size bed, and is well made.There’s 2 sets of pillowcases (so 4 in total, perfect for double and king size beds!) one set are housewife pillowcases, and the other set are oxford pillowcases. Again- well made and fit well on my pillows.The duvet cover is divine! It is again well made and fits over my duvet perfectly- I have a medium thickness 10.5 tog king size duvet, and it seems just the right fit.There’s also a cushion cover included in the set but I’ve just put that into storage as I already have my chosen cushions on the bed.I think perhaps the only thing I’d say is that 2 cushion covers would of been ideal for those who did want to use them, I’m not sure what you can do with just one.I’ve provided a photo with my review so you can see just how lovely it looks on my bed, and the satin feels so lovely when we are in bed too. Both myself and my husband love how it feels.One tip I’ll give is ensure you iron the sheets when you first remove them from the packaging- they do arrive with awful creases in them due to how they are packaged, and wouldn’t look nice on the bed without being ironed first. It’s worth taking the half and hour to iron all the items before putting them on the bed.Also- they recommend that you iron on a 1, but I was getting nowhere with that setting so risked a 2 instead- that turned out to be the setting that worked the best.All in all I’m very pleased with these covers and will be back for the set in black in the future.

  Needed a cheap bedding set as recently dyed my hair a bright colour and didn't want to ruin nice bedding with hair dye transferThe set does feel cheap. It's very thin (almost see through when you hold it up) and when putting the fitted sheet on it was a little tight for a double bed. This means one corner seam is pulled a bit tight and can see that the stitches likely won't hold up for long. When I take it off to clean will probably add a few stitches to hopefully stop it falling apart but I don't expect it to last very long anyway.It is a satin set so expect it to be slippery, which it is. I don't find it all falls off the bed but then I sleep alone (except for the cat) and don't move too much in my sleep. It doesn't attract cat fur though which is good (brushed cotton is the worst for that, satin or high thread count Egyptian cotton the best)It catches easily- cat claws and anything else a little sharp will cause pulled threads. I simply stretch back out to stop it ripping or showing pulls.Colour is silver. Less purple/silver toned than picture which is fine.

  Weak seams

  After two uses, the fitted sheet corners started to separate and come apart. Decided to start a return, but then noticed how awkward and fussy the seller's return policies were (there didn't seem to be any guarantee that I was going to be refunded if I did send it back), so I've put it in a drawer and forgot about it. Really don't enjoy handing money over for rubbish but seems like I don't really have much choice. You do.

  I am not one to make or judge a product!! This is a lovely HIGH end finished, quality duvet and pillow covers!!The downside! I have normal human feet, although, I am a 41 year old man! Feet is not my fort-aye say the least! But even the most sassy women out there! Even after a pedicure, your feet will end up scratching, or somehow become irritating! This product will end up annoying you! I did end up as a block getting my feet done, but me and the Mrs still find it that it does keep catching every nooks and cranny's on your feet!!Please try .. My 2 year old loves it!! For me, unless I have "zero" hard skin - Just not for me!

  Amazing for the price! So lovley and comfortable so impressed with the qualitySo soft, lovley colour, shiny and feels like luxury very happy indeed. Going to buy my daughter one as she said it was amazing tooVery happy indeed

  Rough Feet will Ruin

  It's all well and good sliding in between satin sheets they say, but they don't tell you that if you have less than baby skinned feet every move you make in your bed is accountable for the damage to the sheets, you'll end up with a fuzzy torn cotten mess, looking less and less like satin in the end. Wear silk socks, lol.

  Worst bedding ever! Bought since beginning of lockdown. (April) Prior, I’ve had silk bedding lasting years that are now all losing their course. I always sleep in silk for over 20 years. I’ve never witnessed nothing if this quality ever! It has been 6 months, and my face has been acting up a lot in lockdown. Couldn’t put my finger on it. Been changing my skin routine, just hit 40, really?? Anyways.. I change my sheets every two weeks, then wash. I bought all the colours in these. Grey, black, red, and cream. Remember I’ve been using since April so they’ve been washed many times since April! I’d see random patches on other pillowcases likes o too if each other in wardrobe, not understanding, spooking me after my binge of horror movie watching since lockdown. Lol! Now I see these are the culprits! How much the heck dye is in it!? My face breaking out just not glowing like that anymore. But it’s not just this. Simple changed their toner too and it don’t agree with me but this is an eye opener!!! I’m sleeping on bare dye! Down to my mattress protector... stained bad! I’ve enclosed the photos. It’s meant to be white as you can see the underneath where the bedding didn’t touch compared to ontop where it is deeply stained. So lucky it didn’t penetrate onto my fairly new expensive mattress to support my back! Pillow cases stained! I just bought a lot of polyester cotton pillowcases the other day thinking my cotton pillowcases have run their course too...but no, worst bedding ever I’ve never seen nothing like it. Surely that can’t be healthy!! They’re now currently unavailable...? Eye opener! What is 2020 A! Much more than what I use to pay before...from market..but too shook to go market browsing right about now ???Good luck everyone.

  Lovely bedding but do not wear anything in bed of the same material. No seriously don't. If you do, the chances of you actually staying in the bed are slim to none. It's like trying to sleep on a slide. Now don't get me wrong, this is not a bad thing (unless you try to throw the duvet back onto the bed, it WILL slip right off onto the floor in the other side.) If you can stay in one place though it's lovely !
