- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 June 2019Super happy with this purchase!I am so pleased with this table! We also purchased two benches and a pair of chairs to match. Amazing value for money (we never could have afforded a set like this from standard furniture shops) and straight forward to put together if you follow the instructions carefully. Really sturdy (we didn’t use the glue for the chairs) and a beautiful finish.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 May 2020Great valueI was a bit hesitant to buy this table as the price seemed too good to be true. Well, after a little bit of re-assembly due to getting some of the bits in the wrong places, it took about 2 hours to assemble and I love it! The only thing is that the catches don't seem do up in the non-extended position, they are also undone in the photo and this seems a little odd as the table moves a lot if the two leaves are not held together. I wonder if the catches are only intended for use when the middle leaf is in position? Anyway, I solved the problem with a couple of hairbands and whilst the table still moves sideways a little, I'm sure it'll be OK. For the price I paid, I'm not in a position to complaint because the table looks like it cost more than double what I actually paid for it. It's not obvious where to store the additional extension leaf, but after looking at one of the photos I've realised that it just slides between the two slats underneath, which is fine for me as I will mostly be using it in the non-extended position and didn't want to have to store this extender. All in all a wonderful, good quality wood kitchen table, thank you Mercers Furniture!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 April 2020Sturdy table and ideal for shabby chic loversArrived quickly. Easy to assemble. I had a bigger version of this table which served us well as a larger family for 10 years. I am awarding 4 stars only because the table arrived with a slightly damaged leg which didn’t bother me too much as I bought the table to customise to match my decor, so I was able to repair the damage, sand and paint but it would have been noticeable had I wanted to leave it natural wood. Overall, a lovely table which can take a battering if you have a young family.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 February 2021Worth the moneyI've had this table for a few months now and I love it. It's pretty sturdy and solid. Some of the pilot holes are in the wrong place so be warned when putting it together - it's probably not you... it probably is the table! I'm going to attach some strong netting underneath so that I can store the centre leaf for now, but there's support beams at each end of the table that you can easily add something stronger to hold the extention - such as mesh fencing or a wooden shelf or slats to the underside of the table. All in all, this is a great table for us.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 December 2020Lovely looking tableLovely looking table, some of the instructions need a bit of tweaking but if you assemble flat pack furniture regularly it will be a doddle to assemble
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 November 2020Great but not without problemVery sturdy and cool. Assembly requires 2 people as the parts can be heavy. The only problem is that it has lines/gaps on the table top and the food particles can get in there so requires effort to keep it clean. Thinking to fill in the gaps with wood filler and varnish the top...
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 June 2021Outstanding ValueThis table is very sturdy and quite easy to assemble. Really good value for a solid wood table
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 November 2019Easy to put together and sturdyI was able to put the legs together but my hubby out the top on, mainly because you need an electric screwdriver. Very pleased with it and looking forward to using it.
