- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 February 2019Beautiful solid woodI have ordered this console table for the alcove next to the fireplace in the living room. It fits the narrow space perfectly. It is a lovely, heavy piece of furniture with a smooth finish. Easy to assemble. It would have got 5 stars but the drawers let it down somewhat. As others have mentioned, there is quite a gap between individual drawers and base they slide into and the drawers feel quite rough and raw when opening and closing. Overall it's still value for money for a beautiful piece of furniture and I keep looking at it with pride.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 January 2020Value, absolutely superb.Having worked in the 'trade' for £100 it is terrific.One tiny, tiny, tiny gripe....the screws retaining the shelf are about twice as long as they need to be. Being close to the shelf, on the underside, it's not possible to get a full turn on the allen key supplied and it takes an age to tighten them, I would suggest finding a normal screwdriver that fits and use it to insert the screws, finally tightening with the allen key.The screws securing the drawer section are no problem.

This is my third piece of this furniture. It is a bit costly, but when you see it up close you appreciate the material, and workmanship.

Great delivery and easy to assemble, however, 2 bolts were missing and I had to "make do" without them - not a huge issue but I contacted the seller to let them know and never had a reply... Otherwise it would have been 5 stars!

It looks great, was packaged well, very easy to put together and feels sturdy. Also, Delivery estimate was 4-13th june, and it arrived on the 25th May and they followed my delivery request for it to be left in my greenhouse rather than a neighbour, so I am delighted with this service.

- What colour are the knobs ? difficult to decide on my monitor.Matt/satin silver metal in that they are not shiny chrome. It's a nice piece of furniture!
- Is the colour true to the online picture and could the drawer knobs be changed to a more traditional fitting?It is a light oak that is varnished. The drawers have holes drilled for the knob screws. You would need a fitting that covered the hole.

- What is the distance from the surface of the lower shelf to the bottom of the drawers please. I need to place a guitar amplifier on the lower shelf wTo the bottom of the drawer its 23ins/58cm. However its only 22ins/56cm to the horizontal spars front and back. The distance between these is just over 9 ins/23cm so if your amplifier is wider than this you will only have 22 ins.
