- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 September 2017I am no wood expert but surely an idiot would spot this as a poor piece of wood for purposeYet again quality control fails miserably . I am no wood expert but surely an idiot would spot this as a poor piece of wood for purpose. I am so hacked off with Amazon for yet again delivering a poor item. Seems some company's are just happy with making a fast buck. I just can't be bothered dismantling this piece of garbage to send back I will have to just live with it. ????? no stars just thumbs down. To top it all the holes for the screws are almost impossible to apply with the Alen key provided...???????
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 February 2018One star because I couldn’t enter less!Do not buy this product. We bought two. I was fortunate that I was in the act of standing up when the first one broke. The wife was less fortunate on the second and was lucky not to hit her head as she crashed the floor! The cross sections are only screwed in on two sides, so the natural inclination of the stool is to perform the splits. Poorly designed and dangerous.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 September 2018Poor designThis stool wasn’t well designed. Constantly lost its support due to the design of the legs, which had a tendency to work lose after about a week of being tightened. The final demise of the stool was being knocked over, where it promptly fell apart. It’s not completely useless as I’ve removed the legs and now use the seat as a lazy Susan in my craft room.As a stool - nil pointAs a rather expensive Lazy Susan - 1 Star
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 September 2019GREAT Value For Money Stools - EXCELLENT Swivel Feature!!I bought these stools to replace piston operated stools as they got shoddy really quickly. The stools arrived promptly in good quality packaging and on setting out the parts, all were present and correct! The instruction manual is simple to follow but it's not really needed.Just by setting the parts together it's easy to see what fits where. All the screws fitted nice and tightly and the quality of the wood looks great.REALLY LOVE the swivel feature of the seat area of the stool. It's all too easy to damage a stool whilst rocking back and forth but this neat swivel feature allows free movement ON the stool, saving wear and tear. The height is right for most breakfast bars.** If I had one 'complaint' about the stools it would be that the company hasn't provided a rubber base foot for the stool.I found that you could sit down and the stool slide from beneath you depending what type of floor covering you have. Mine is a tiled kitchen floor, so the stool slide away too easily!!I remedied this by buying small rubber feet that screwed into the base of the stools. All in all a good quality stool and no hesitation in recommending it and the company that made them!

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 June 2020Supports don't all attach, pulls apart under repeated use, no assembly instructionsWhen I put this stool together, I was surprised to discover that not only were there no instructions (I figured it out anyway), but also that only TWO of the eight support bars between the legs actually attach with screws. The other six support bars aren't attached by anything; there are no holes for screws to go in. They're just supposed to be held in place by the tension created by the screws holding together the framework at the top, and the screws holding one pair of supports in place at the bottom.I shouldn't have been surprised when, after a couple of weeks, the supports perpendicular to the ones screwed in just pulled out of their sockets. Wood glue has proven completely insufficient to hold them in place. I'm now faced with a choice between trying to drill new holes in this thing myself, or getting a new (and much more expensive) one.In summary, this stool is very badly designed. Don't buy it if you weigh more than a feather and actually want to sit on it.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 May 2021DISAPPOINTEDThis stool, on the face of it, was exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately I have had to throw it away. To me, the whole thing appeared to be made up of wood off-cuts spliced together. The seat and base were fine. The legs didn’t remain firm - ie the screws kept coming loose. To remedy this a friend strengthened the fixture with a few more screws but still this didn’t fix the problem. One of the bars between the legs came apart at the splicing on two occasions despite being glued in place. I suspect this weakness occurred when the legs became loose. Such a disappointment as it would have been the perfect kitchen stool for me.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 January 2018Poor Qualityvery poor quality. They arrived with a bracket that had come loose due to inadequate screw length. however I persevered becauase I hate sending things back. On assembly the screws supplied sheared off even before getting tight. I did therefore give up and went through the agravation of returning them.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 August 2018Stools that do the splitsThese are just poorly built, the struts and supports constantly work loose and need putting back in place. Unfortunately, I came to sit on the stool first thing this morning, and the supports not only worked themselves out of the sockets, but the dowels snapped and the stool basically did the splits. I fell backwards and nearly gave myself a concussion on the cupboard behind. Definitely would not recommend, they're far too expensive for such a cheap, shoddy product.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 December 2016ReccommendedThis is just the right height for my wife who is only 4ft 11inchs! Well made and takes 5 minutes to put together. Good kitchen stool but would look fine anywhere in the house.
